कट फ्लावर के तौर पर इस्तेमाल किए जाने वाले 10 सबसे लोकप्रिय फ्लावरिंग प्लांट की लिस्ट में एक नाम फ्रीसिया का भी आता है। फ्रीसिया एक बल्बवस प्लांट है जिसके एक से डेढ़ फीट लंबे हर फ्लावर स्पाइक में ट्रम्पेट के आकार वाले फूल 6 से 12 तक की संख्या में खिलते हैं। फ्रीसिया के फूल सफेद, पीले लाल, नारंगी, गुलाबी आदि लगभग हर रंगों में या एक से अधिक रंगों के मिश्रित सेड में आते हैं। फ्रीसिया के फूलों में बेबी पाउडर की तरह भीनी भीनी खुशबू आती है जिससे उसके आसपास का वातावरण काफी ताजातरीन और सुहावना रहता है। फ्रीसिया की फूलों में पाए जाने वाले इस खास तरह की महक के कारण इसका उपयोग साबुन, शैंपू, हैंड वॉश आदि बनाने में भी किया जाता है। तो आज की इस वीडियो में मैं आपको बताऊंगा कि फ्रीसिया को उसके बल्ब या काॅर्म से कैसे और कब उगाया जा सकता है, फ्रीसिया के फूल आने में कितना समय लगता है और फूल खिलने से पहले और फूल खिलने के बाद फ्रीसिया की देखभाल किस तरह से करनी चाहिए। यानी फ्रीसिया के पूरे लाइफ साइकिल की जानकारी आपको इस वीडियो में मिल जाएगी।
Freesia too appears in the list of 10 most popular flowering plants used as cut flowers. Freesia is a bulbous plant, which bears 6 to 12 trumpet shaped flowers in each flower spike measuring one to one and half feet in length. Flowers of Freesia come in almost every color like white, yellow, red, orange, pink etc. or in a mixed shade of more than one color. Freesia flowers have a pleasant smell like baby powder, which makes the environment very pleasant and refreshing. Due to this special smell found in the flowers of freesia, it is also used in making soap, shampoo, hand wash etc. So in today's video I will tell you how and when you can grow freesia using its bulbs or corms, how long does it take for freesia to flower and how to care for it before flowering and after flowering. Very informative. I have freesia bulb so I guess I should wait till October Nov to sow them. Actually I read that they are indoor plants and can be grown in summer. Obviously that info was wrong.
