    I am so SICK of people automatically assuming people are mixed with something just because they have long hair and fair skin. NEW FLASH! anyone can have long hair if u take care of it 🗣🗣🗣🗣 there are some very light skinned girls with 4c hair and dark skinned ones with 3b 3c hair. Genetics way play a role in how FAST it grows, but if you're not taking care of it u won't see ANY length, black white blue Indian, whatever....

    Some one said I have genes to grow long hair. So I should not tell folks that they are stuff out there to grow hair. Sigh! Long hair could be achieved by anyone who Is willing to take the time to care for their hair. Before I turned 21, my hair never grew past my shoulders, and I've had a perm once at 13 years old. Don't be discouraged. If you look at many BLACK GIRLS on KZread with type 4C hair who have achieve great lengths by proper hair care, you will see that it's not impossible.

    Yes, I have mixed feelings about the words that were told to you. I kind of believe them if I'm honest. However, I believe your words also. In the past SOME of us black girls were doing everything wrong so our hair suffered. Today, we are more educated in the area of our hair. But, with this said...SOME of us black girls are not going to have hair down to our butt (OK extreme), no matter what the process is. But, we can and have achieved more healthier hair. This is just an old girl thoughts; my hair is relaxed. I wore my natural proud when I was young; we all did. It was the way of life. I always say, "if I hit 70 plus, I will cut my hair and go natural." I'm 57 and counting...

    Bebe Ali-Smith I agree anyone can grow hair, I used to perm my hair in my younger years it never grew past my shoulders. Once I stepped away from the perms, ate better, took multivitamins my hair flourished. Now I'm four inches to my desired waist length and I've been natural for almost six years. You MUST BELIEVE YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT AND YOU WILL!

    There is some truth to the person's words. You can achieve healthy hair but that does not equal long hair. Yes, they may see their hair a lot longer but perhaps not down their back. All I'm saying is that I understand what the person was saying. We should not be a negative because we understand this topic differently.

    so true,I stopped buying products in the beauty aisle in 2009 ....I order my products on amazon and make most of my own and wow my hair grows faster than a forest fire..red onion juice,bee pollen granules,black strap molasses,barley juice etc..made my hair grow fast and thick..i had to slow down eating it or applying it on my hair

    Just seeing this video for the 1st time. You rocked it -- gorgeous, girl!! 👍🏾 I am looking for very simple and healthy ways to maintenance my natural hair, while keeping an intensely full and demanding work schedule. In a number of videos I have watched people say their hair dries overnight with these type of twists and bantu knots-- that process often gives me congestion in the morning from sleeping with damp hair and my hair is never completely dry going out in the morning cool air especially in winter months. This looks like something I could try and achieve the results I want. Thanks for uploading and sharing your hair routine. You have healthy hair. All the best to you.

I'm going to try to stay away from perms and heat as well and see if that helps.

    Princess Nia Marie. Thank you 🙏🏾. Moisture is the best thing. Don’t matter how much it suck up keep feeding it more. Get a spray bottle with water and leave in conditioner mix, and whenever it feels dry just sprits it up. Blow dry it less, use protective styles all these are great ways to reduce breakage and promote hair growth.

    vinessa wess 🙏🏾 thanks a lot. Heating the oil before buying it in the butter is not necessary. But if you decide to use the oils by itself, Running a blow dryer on low through your hair would help to infuse the oils into the hair follicles. That’s what I do as of now.

    Hey Bebe, I have always found Shea butter to be really greasy, so early on I didn't use it because of weighing my hair down. Is the mixture oily? Where do you purchase your Shea butter? Your hair looked nice and didn't appear to look greasy.

  • @bebeali-smith3049

    @bebeali-smith3049

    Hi Lizzie Clay, when I first apply the mixture it has more of a oily feel to it, but after leaving it overnight the oil seems to have soaked in the hair. It's better to apply when the hair is still wet so you don't need a lot of Shea butter to fully condition your hair. I get my Shea butter from a friend.

    Hi amira abdul, In my opinion the yellow shea butter is the better one. That’s it’s natural color. The white Shea butter is usually processed. The rosemary leaves can be found at a local grocery store in the produce section.

    Hi Hey123 , this is a pretty thick mixtures. And as your scalp need to breath, it won't be a good idea to use this. Try using a light oil if you need to. Cactus oil or snake oil is good.

  • @bebeali-smith3049

    @bebeali-smith3049

    7 жыл бұрын

    Hey SWEET DAVIS, there are several reasons why your edges won't grow. Some of those are: braids being too tight( if you do braids), sleeping on cotton or other fabrics that dick moisture out of your hair, to keep your hair condition you should sleep with a silk or satin scarf, pillowcase or bonnet. Another reason could be using gel products. This leaves you a hair very neat but at the same time stiff and easy to break. There are many other reason. Research and get to know your hair type and how you can style without hurting your edges. I hope this helped.
