Hi Eriq, the needles I use are 1.0 MM length on derma roller. Anything longer than that can be quite invasive and unsafe to use if pressed too hard. So I would suggest sticking with 1 mm or 0.5 mm as our goal is to increase blood circulation only for hair growth rather than breaking the skin for acne scar removal. Also the Lavender oil will be absorbed better and will not sting on the skin as it has not been broken down too aggressively. My extra tip will be doing it only 5 days a week and let the skin rest for two days and on weekend use any gentle moisturizer on that area. It will heal and protect the skin areas while you are trying this method. I hope it helps, let me know if you have any other question my friend! Thanks, Eric :)

For hair regrowth use onion juice as a topical solution, alternately mix olive oil + castor oil mildly and apply, wash off with protein shampoo, include iron, biotin in your diet, the main culprit in male pattern baldness is DHT hormone so saw palmetto and flax seed will do a lot of good..hope this helps

Hi Eric. Isn't 5 times a week a little excessive for a 1.0mm needle? Most people say that you should stick to 0.25mm every day or every other day and that 0.75-1.0mm should be used once a month. I also hear that Lavender Oil is comedogenic, meaning it blocks the pores of the skin if you apply it when the skin has been given micro-trauma.

I'm 17 and I have a receding hairline. I'm in high school and you don't know how low it brings my self esteem. I get really upset at school because I see all these kids with normal hairline and they look good and they don't have to deal with a receding hairline like I do. I think I would be really good looking if it wasn't for my hairline. Since I'm only 17 and my parents probably won't let me get this stuff, can someone please help me? Will this dermaroller and oil (what oil specifically? I've been seeing lots of different oils in the comments) actually help? Please, someone help. I can't stand all of my friends making fun of my hairline and being so low in confidence literally just because of my hairline alone.

ive been using castor oil, coconut oil (cold-pressed), lavender oil, and rosemary oil. you have to get the "essential oil" ones which are more potent/pure. i can't say its made a huge difference in physically growing hair but its definitely stopped the hair loss process. i was losing hair like crazy but now its stopped but can't say for certain its growing "new hair." my dad and grandpa are bald so will probably end up the same but im gonna fight it for as long as i can

Can I use onion juice after rolling derma roller? Presently I am using derma Roller 1.0mm every 5 days a week and then I am applying the oil which has mixed with coconut oil and castor oil and a few drops of lavender essential oil, and I am using organic shampoo to wash my hair. Hi Liam Goggs, it may work on facial hair as well, I have not tried it myself. But massaging lavender oil (you may also add rosemary oil along with a carrier oil such a jojoba or almond or coconut oil) on the chin and moustache area can stimulate hair follicles, just like hair on the scalp. Give it a try and let me know if it helped. I will be posting another video about importance of certain foods and other tips for hair growth. thanks, Eric (I could not reply to linked comment for some reason, there is no reply button under your comment)

Dermarolling very often (especially with large needles (0,5-1,5mm)) could cause more harm than gains. There are evidence of increased collagen production even 1 month after a treatment so theres no need to do it every day. If youre using a needle size of 0,5mm or under, then it could be beneficial to use it more often, although theres limited data supporting it. I would suggest dermarolling once a week MAX and applying rosemary oil, peppermint oil or topical minoxidil/rogaine after the procedure. Also it is important to dermaroll after a shower to reduce risk of inflammation and to not sweat excessively or use products that could irritate the scalp up to 12 hours after the procedure. I'm not a dermatologist but ive done heavy research on this topic since i suffer from male pattern baldness (M21). If you have questions im happy to answer :)

Hi. I am currently undergoing the same treatment. I use the derma roller, and then a concoction my friend who is very into oils made for me in the form of a spray. It’s a vodka and water base, and has peppermint, rosemary, and another oil or two that I’m forgetting, but it’s promoting strands to grow on my scalp in just a little under a month so far and is making my hair appear fuller and cover the problem area up. Good luck all!

I bought rosemary oil instead of lavender oil. I read that it needs to be diluted or it will damage the scalp so I diluted it with castor oil, but I just found out that castor oil is not a good carrier oil for essential oils. Should I use a different carrier oil or will castor oil still work with rosemary oil? Castor oil seems to be the most popular for hair growth.

Eric, thank you for all this great information. I'm been doing all that you mention here for less than two weeks and I'm already seeing great changes in my hair. I have three questions--maybe you'd be kind enough to give your thoughts on them. 1. I got lavender oil, but it says do not put directly on skin. It says to dilute it in an oil, and not to apply to broken or irritated skin. The brand I got is Nature's Truth Aromatherapy Lavender 100% Pure. The ingredients say 100% Pure Lavender Oil (Lavandula officinalis, spp) From what I can read online, that should mean it's just pure lavender oil. Are they just trying to be safe with those warnings? I've been using it, like you say, directly onto the scalp without dilution and I am noticing improvement. I would like to ignore their warning, but is aromatherapy oil any different? It seems it would be the same since it's 100% lavender oil...any thoughts? 2. You mention in your other oil recipe video that the other oils (Emu, E, jojoba, etc) that you combine should just stay on the scalp overnight in order to let the scalp breathe. What about the lavender oil? If we do the derma rolling every morning after a shower, won't the lavender oil be on until the next morning's shower? I look at your results, so whatever you're doing, I want to do the same! Do you leave the lavender oil on for a full 24 hours? 3. What about Grecian Formula and derma rolling? Not sure if you know about Grecian Formula... It's a product that changes your hair back to its normal color without dyes grecian-formula.com/faq.php and grecian-formula.com/tips.php The product contains lead acetate, but I read reviews on Amazon where people asked if it caused hair to thin and a good amount of verified users assured them it does not. Some said they've been using it for decades and have thick heads of hair. You have to leave it on the hair after showering. Apparently after using it rigorously at first, you only need to do it once a week after that. Do you think it might be bad to use Grecian Formula while derma rolling? And if so, do you have any suggestions for someone like myself that wants their dark brown, almost black hair back? Truth be told, though, I'd rather have a thick head of gray hair then dark hair with a bald patch. But would be awesome to get my dark hair back, too. Any thoughts or knowledge you can share would be much appreciated... I can't thank you enough if you can answer these questions. And I can't thank you enough already for this video. I've been doing what you said, for just almost 2 weeks, and I can already feel a lot of baby hairs coming in. I can only look forward to month 2, month 6, etc. A lot to look forward to! Thank you! And anyone that sees this video and is doubtful, do know there's another person here using Eric's technique with only positive and quick results to report!
