I just stumbled upon your channel 3 days ago when I was looking for a Start to Finish tutorial on potatoes. I have since subbed and watched several hours of your content. You 2 are such lovely people and I wish I could learn all these wonderful things in person. Everytime I watch something new, I feel like a 5 year old learning from their grandpa. This is such an amazing channel and I can't wait to watch every since video and learn as much as I can so I can build and grow my own garden. Much love from Texas!

Homestead Homies!! 😂👍 Sounds like a t-shirt I'd buy and wear! I had one pak choy plant, and it bolted like Jack's beanstalk. Glad for this good advice! I'm surprised that birds didn't eat your seedlings. You could always install bird netting around your seed starting structures. Great results; beautiful plants! Thank you!

Hollis I really enjoy your videos. You have been an inspiration as I attempt to grow food. I must ask though. The quantities that you plant seem overwhelming for 2 people. Can you speak to how you determine how much of each vegetable you will plant? Do you keep all that you plant? Do you give away or sell a portion? Thank you

Tom Stepp I’ve heard them say in previous videos that they give away a lot of their produce to family and friends. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they donated to charities as well. These two seem like really generous folks.

Excellent❗❗❗ Start to finish, 1)starter mix, 2)plant mix, 3)proper amendment for type of plant, 4)when to plant and why, (fall plant or spring plant). Only thing left out was average days to maturity. Not being critical. In Maine, it's a short growing season at best, and frost dates are by design fickle! BUT, I just looked up a similar variety from Johnny's Seed and was surprised to see 21 days mini, 45 days full maturity. Might order some seed tonight. 😊 NOW, if ya can just do about 40-50 more of these for different varieties of plants......... No pressure my friend❗❗ LOL 👍👍👍 (oh, and a bowl of Nancy's) 😋😋 TYFS, Stay Safe and Well Mark and Rosa

I purchased regular Bok Choy plants yesterday from the farm store. They didn’t have purple Bok Choy. Can I use the same soil that you are using for the purple? Would I just follow these instructions for the regular Bok Choy? I watched your cabbage planting videos and now I have cabbages planted in buckets and my husband made me a grow stand for the buckets. I am really getting into this. Too bad lumber prices have risen so much😳😀. I am planting my fall garden in containers this year. Last year, I didn’t plant anything. I am about 3 hours north of you so our climate is close. I really enjoy your and Nancy’s channel.
