Came back to rewatch this video for the mighty storm and the lone wolf to my TBR. Have you ever read Broken Play by Alison Rhymes? The groveling is quite satisfying, the angst and jealousy was 👌👌👌

Great video! Love ‘The Mighty Storm’ and ‘Wethering the Storm’ - great angsty early Indie romances! I have read/listened to both many times.

I only read the 3rd book in the Wolf series also. No way would I have survived 2 books of them being with other people. Also, GROVELTOHEA is the Queen of groveling heroes done RIGHT. Your recs are spot on.

I agree with you. I want to read "Lone Wolf." Usually, in arranged marriages or troubled marriage romance novels, the guy is hopping on every bed while the girl stays celibate. Male leads often say to the heroine, "You were the only one for me. Those women mean nothing to me." While I understand people have urges and need to move on, I never understood why the girls always remain celibate. Maybe because I'm traumatized by 90s and 80s romance novels, I, with abhorrence, avoid those novels. So, I do indeed want to read "Lone Wolf."

Any book recos where the heroine is doing a revenge thing on the hero
