i found them back in 2020. couldnt describe it, but it brought me back to like 2013. it kinda made me sad because i realized how much older i had gotten in what felt like a couple of months at most. so good. i also did the same thing with cage the elephant and foster the people.. you should listen to "helena beat" next time you are in your car on a long drive home. if you like this, i will guarantee you like that song and band

This song was one of the best songs I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It found me in a particularly low point in my life and it almost felt like it was speaking directly to me and how I felt, which I had never felt from a song before. It was actually earth shattering for me. I cried listening to it, and ever since I have been a huge Grouplove fan.

I can't even explain and find some words to describe my feelings about this song. I am 28 years old guy living in small town in Russia. Hear this song today for the 1st time. Using google translate and my fingers to write it, while my hands are shaking and I am a little bit sweat. Because my colours are red blue and black in this days and almost my whole life, with my memories grey. But now I am know that its ain't bad. And I still have my health. And I feel a little bit better. And my heart full of thankness to these guys, because they teach me a simple truth. We live for love. No matter what you love. i was in middle school when this first came out, remember getting picked up by mom- had to say bye to my friends, remembering we were just about to graduate and i kept thinking how i’ll never see them again and how everything was gonna change. sure enough it did.. didn’t go to high school with my best friends, went to an even worse one, had family members die in my life, had to go through so much other shit but right now, coming back to this, all i could think about is that day, this song playing in the background, laughing and having a good ass time with my old friends. i’m alone and i’ve been depressed but at least i’m alive and i’ve got myself . song speaks truth.

This song is extremely meaningful to me. I found it at the peak of a lot of suffering I was going through last summer, and it allowed me to accept all the pain I was going through, and that all experiences we go through, the colors, literally make us who we are. Each word was so filled with meaning, everything in my life just fell into place and I knew that ultimately I was perfect the way I was.

FIFA 12 introduced me to this amazing group, and I just recently started watching the show Bojack Horseman on Netflix and didn't notice they sang the outro for it, it was no wonder why I liked that outro song so much haha

Well it's about self acceptance, and how we will keep changing as life goes on. Not to focus on what's wrong with ourselves and focus on what we do have, to keep moving forward. But I do feel you. I have not really had an easy past couple of years, and this makes me think about it which is painful, but at the same time it makes me happy so it's sort of bitter-sweet. It's weird.

I love what this song means (or at least to me). That we are all different, we all have our own "colors" but because of love, we find people who accept us for who we are. But because of life, sometimes we forget those who love us, and sometimes we don't think that our beauty outshines the bad and we end up like ... the singer did at the end of the video ... but if he didn't do that, he would've had to chance to see how everyone would've embraces him if they only knew how he was feeling .
