Nick, I love that you have been so open about trying new things. Always learning and always experiencing new things are what I feel like are the keys to life! Love seeing The Bean and Jamaican Mike in the videos. Same thing here on the West coast, most guys don't utilize the whole Salmon, Halibut, Rock fish, Lingcod, etc. However, I've always grown up (born and raised in Oregon) utilizing the whole fish too! Extra work to utilize the whole fish, however well worth it! We spend so much time fishing and catching fish, and spend only a few minutes filleting the fish, and then discarding so much of it. I think it's best to utilize as much as we can, especially because it's so delicious and well worth it! Keep the videos and fishing coming! Much love from the Pacific Northwest!

From down under nick grouper are really highly protected and controlled around Sydney australia , so we use big snappers heads for seafood chowder and we prize the wings of the bigger ones for bbq or grill never thought about curry. . The current he made was terrific and it shows real respect for the killing of the creature and not wasting anything from the fish . Killing the fish or any noble creature like this gives it respect .
