First of all Mademoiselle, you teach EXTREMELY well! Thank you so much for all your videos! Person scrolling thorough the comments section, here's an easy trick I found in a text book ( I'm not taking any credit for this method ) To remember the verbs conjugated with être - DR & MRS. VANDER TRAMP {infinitive - past participle} : Descendre - descendu Rentre - rentré Monter - monté Rester - resté Sortie - sortie Venir - venu Aller - allé Naître - né Devenir - devenu Entrer - entré Revenir - revenu Tomber - tombé Retourner - retourné Arriver - arrivé Mourir - mort Partir - parti Note : the verb passer means to pass by a place it is conjugated with être. But when it means to pass time or pass an object to someone, it is conjugated with avoir.

By watching this lesson I just realized that this verb tense works very likely to italian as you could use both avere (avoir) and essere (être) to talk about the past. For example as to say "I am back" (like I just came back) in french you would say "Je suis revenu" just like italian they would say "io sono tornato". Thank Alexa, you are such an amazing professor!

Really love and appreciate your lessons!!! You are such a great teacher, makes everything fun and easy to understand. Thank you so much! One little suggestion: whenever you say 'refer back to the lesson on movement verbs'(or refer to other videos), could you please put the link of the video on the screen so we can click it right there? Thanks again! Really really appreciate you and your teaching! Bisou Bisou~
