That was a really good video and it was really neat how you hooked up and used that little trailer. Can’t beat cutting wood at waist height either!!!

I agree using the Groundhog to lift the wood to waist height is definitely easier on my back and is definitely a game changer if you have a back injury. Thanks for watching

Keep up the videos. Trying to work out a deal with Rick on the DH 14g - 2 with side swing.Does the 14-2 come with a hydraulic filter besides the oil cooler?

Yes all Groundhog mini excavators come with a hydraulic oil filter. You should never buy any excavator without one or be ready for mechanical problems.

What made you get the standard controls instead of the joystick controls

Just my preference. I like the forward hand controls so I'm ready to brace myself when tracking over rough terrain. I also like all the controls closer together when I want to do multiple functions at one time. Again this is just my preference.

Is your machine bigger than the 14g Pro or are they the same size !

The pro is the same size class machine with the same engine. It comes down to which you like the most. Both use the same attachments and both use the same steel tracks which would increase the overall counter weight of the excavator. The BH14G-2 does have an optional counter weight package not currently available on the pro. The pro already has a factory counter weight installed.

No sorry but it was pretty quick and easy. If you look at your pedal you'll see a reinforced area underneath the foot pad. I located the lever where it felt comfortable to me and indicated where I wanted to drill and tap a hole I believe for a 5/16th bolt. My lever was clearanced for a splined shaft for an ATV but the 5/16 bolt fit in the clamp of the lever and I was able to tighten the clamp tight to the shoulder of the bolt. I place a nut on the bolt to lock it in place after the bolt was slid through the lever clamp and threaded into the pedal. The last step is to locate the angle of the lever in reference to operators reach and comfort and finally tighten down the lever clamp. Hopefully this helps. I'll try to get more details when I do things in the future but it takes about 10 times as long to do something when I'm filming no joke because I'm constantly trying to set up the camera and work at the same time.
