I like how knowing to perfect parry is a powerful tool but needing to perfect parry EVERY attack to survive in higher NG+ is just plain dumb. Also need to remove the mass amount of RNG needed to take on bosses as you need either +boss damage or +elemental damage up to make their fights somewhat manageable. Just my thoughts as someone who is in NG11.

Question for the Devs: Why limit armor upgrades to level 9 when weapons go much higher now? The milk molar health bonus doesn't feel like enough because it doesn't account for defense %. p.s. this is my favorite game ever, surpassed Halo:CE

I wonder the same. Creatures have become stronger, yet there is no way to counter that. I have never died so much in the game as I die now in NG+1. Sometimes I don't even know why exactly. I have change my setting to easy, although I usually play normal.

#1. Will the super duper get QoL improvements to make deduping and duping multiple items or stacks faster?✅ #2. Why is armor limited to level 9 when weapons are maxed at 15? #3. Grind QoL improvement. Will you be adding fusion ores around the map like quartz and marble? #4. Will you be adding a way to combine crinkles into a science cone? #5. Will the new elemental weapons get updated to be more different from one another?✅ #6. Will salt be getting any new weapons? #7. Will you be adding infused armor to boss loot? #8. Why do infused weapons lose the effect their predecessor has?✅ #9. Will you be adding a way to break down material into raw science even if it’s just little bit? That’s all I can think of right now. Just thought of some more. #10. Will mutations and DoT get an overhaul? For example meat shield gives you 50 hp but this becomes obsolete in NG+ the more health you get. Why not change it to a percentage instead? Same with food buffs. The DoT also becomes obsolete later too so why not change the damage to a percentage of the creatures health?

Honestly you hit the nail on the head with all these questions. I feel that the deduper is slow and it takes a lot of time to dedupe all those trinkets. I would love salty weapons and armor past level 9. Also being able to combine other trinkets would be awesome.

My biggest want is a way to choose effects on trinkets and t4 weapons, and also, infused candy weapons... I need my katanas!!!

I like an away to have a higher chance of certain effects on a trinket!

poison, venom, and bleed are almost useless in NG+ so a trinket effect to boost the damage of these would be nice or even an effect that allows these effects to stack or maybe if bleed is applied it makes poison/venom do more damage

Also, would absolutely LOVE to see some kind of “ material breakdown” mode for the Super Duper. I’m drowning in Red Ant Parts and other crap, so to have an option to turn this into Raw Science would be EXCELLENT.

YESSSS AGREEEE!!! The other day I accidentally made three koi helmets and I really wish there was a way to maybe, recycle them or just use them for other stuff as well. But yea, a material breakdown mode or station would just be sooooo helpful

Firstly a massive thank you, to the entire Obsidian team, for making Grounded what it is today ❤ Just a couple of questions for the dev team: • Are any future updates going to be strictly QoL only, which are always welcome, or can we perhaps expect to see some very minor additions? They should make it so you can duplicate or d-duplicate more than one item at a time because in ng+ because you get so much raw science you duplicate A LOT almost everything

A question I've been really wanting to get an aswer to is: What's going on with the Animated Grounded series? Is it still going on, and if so, when can we expect to get some information on it?

Spent 20+ hours total fighting the infected broodmother on Whoa NG+ 4 and only beat it earlier today, if that isn’t enough to realise that changes need to be made idk what is..

are they gonna switch the effects on the new models like the pepper flake breathslayer and picklemaul or are they gonna remove the reskins entirely?

1.Super Duper DeDupe regular items for Raw Science. 2.Ability to Re-roll Trinkets 3.Balance NG+ Bosses. Way too overpowered and not fun. 4.Ability to upgrade armor past level 9.

Are the new wepons in the ASL like the pepper flake and the tingle tongue going to have different stats because right now they have the same damage as the original candy weapons.

Question: why did they make the robots drop raw science instead of robot or electrical components if they already have robot based weapons? (Pinch wacker, prod smacker, and the burgl spatula)

I got a question I know there is dialogue within the game files for the characters for a Huntsman spider fight are we getting a huntsman spider?

Maybe some of the underground areas could get mixed as well. So exploration is still a thing?

On Switch, when I load a saved game right before the story's last boss (to get the good ending), it starts a new game in normal mode instead. But I can save outside the lab, and the save is fine. Weird. Also, why no weather?

Why does the Infused Weapon patch note not mention Science Cones are also affected? Was it simply a glitch or was this change intended for both Weapons and Trinkets?

Can us non-custom game mode players get a way to disable faction invasions? Or at tHe bare minimum get a more precise way of knowing when a raid will occur and of what faction will be occurring? Sucks coming back to a base and instantly getting bombarded with enemies when returning with a full inventory and lack of time to properly sort and put away large assortments of items. Having an unbreakable tier of building material or upgrade would help with this, perhaps making an new material out of raw science somehow? Scien-terrific might be a fitting name for the material.

I think when wearing the i.b.m armor set, the blaster of moldy demon, infected fungnir and the infected ant shield should light up your way when traveling in dark places. This can be used to replace the torches. All ng+ rewards should be available in ng+1. Once you complete ng+1 and unlock the last achievement there is really no reason to continue to play....

So yeah, I had a problem with the raids it destroyed a little part of my base

I think, NG + should add in any of the unused assets, maybe even the unused bosses. And armors seem left out in NG+.

I would to see some of the bugs addressed. Before NG+1 the game was pretty much bug-free. But now, there's a number of them and they pop up frequently and are pretty annoying: - being attacked by invisible enemies - enemies that are invincible, your weapons go straight through, yet they can hurt you (so far only in waft emitter event, but quite consistent) - waft emitter event won't start, although conditions are ok; restarting the game solves this - crashes (bit better after the first NG+1 patch) - ...

Are we going to get level 10+ armour and are you going to add a reroll mechanic on the super duper for trinkets and infused weapons

Honestly, and I'll always stand by this for whoa mode. Wasp queen is harder than infected broodmother. Especially in NG+ when she starts summoning in 4 wasps at a time instead of 3 at the final phase. The healing from the drones is the main culprit and it's the frequency of her summons that make the fight unnecessarily difficult in NG+, especially when she starts summoning in infused wasps that take longer to kill, by the time you deal with one, another 4 wasps enter the fray and she's healed up back to 50% from drone spam. At least with IBM you only have that one target to worry about :D

Is the TV show still being worked on if it was ever started?

Many suggestors have requested making any attack that is unblockable able to be avoided AND making any unavoidable attack blockable. However, the devs haven't seemed to implement this yet. Is there a reason from a developer standpoint why they wouldn't want to implement this?

As someone who just had my first attempt on IBM on Whoa no, no she is not too easy.

Question for devs: why is there only 1 new salt weapon?? And its locked behind ng+4

armor upgrades coming later ?

I think they need to revert the changes with duping/rerolling trinkets for one IBM is just way tooo hard and that’s just on NG1

Is there a scorpion coming to the game or did you think of it?

Love the game and the grind absolutely a S tier game. Here is a weird one for ya though. I play solo but the completionist in me wants to have a way to unlock Reliable Friend mutation. Without needing to invite a random in my game. Surely they can think of a fun way to implement this. Some suggestions: Perhaps down BURG.L when you hit him so you can pick him up. Or alternatively allow to help Dr. Wendell Tully back up as he defends the JavaMatic with you.

Every NG+ you revive burgl and can get the mutation that way

The Mantis can 2 Shot you then the four ground slam combo

Ill start by saying this is my new favorite game ive waited to play it and I love it so far! Honestly im on ps5 and I think there is a few things i could really use 1. For them to fix the Microsoft connection issue so me and my friends can play when the host is offline 2. A upgrade to the Zip.r so you can have a aphid on both sides 3. bosses rebalance 4. Multiplayer on ps5 needs some work ot can be.. very glitchy at some points 5. Please let us ps5 players have the experience of the old dandelion glider I hate that there one use. Im still on first play through so cant comment on anything ng+ or nothing yet

Will we ever get a salty staff I have always liked the concept of staff probably from terraria being one of my favourite games and I love using them and if not is it because a lack of ideas or is it something else

Buff every weapon and slightly nerf some. Make lvl 15. armor. Infused armor with random upgrade attributes.

I put this in the community post you made but for the Devs: What are some more quality of life changes we can expect now that all the planned content has been released? Will Merica rounds ever be put into survival? And will the Web Clipper trinket be added in at some point seeing as both exist in the game? If no to the last 2 questions why? The IBM is hard, The Wasp Queen is hard, the mantis and the hedge broodmother are easy. but those two are the first 2 you should encounter so it makes sense why the mantis and broodmother are easy. but IDK WTF you're talking about with the IBM being easier. I've fought her once and am genuinely terrified to go back lmao! So please do not give them any ideas to buff an already hard AF boss. I literally had a X60 healing debuff I would not call that "easy". (In base game btw not NG+) XD

The ability to dupe stacks and de-dupe multiple items

Ask them why they decided to make the Black Widow attack 50% faster after eating a Widowling. That attack speed bonus simply isn't fun and has ruined my enjoyment of the challenge there used to be with Black Widows.

If you want to make infected brood mother easier on the first two lives use the poison dagger t3 and dont get hit and then switch to toenail simitar. Trust me it will save your sanity at least for easy and medium. Woah mode good luck with that. 😐😐

Plain and simple mate will there be a grounded 2 outside the yard. From what I've seen of new game just seems too grindy just to keep playing Grounded. Want it to be enjoyable, not just reason to keep playing. Been waiting for the new xbox to get stuck in but from what I've seen think only the hard-core fans like us will grind new game.

Increase max build limits, my switch can't handle the save

Fix the Ant mutation and Aphid slippers. When you wear the slippers, it makes the ant mutation not work. Make Wasp Drones land. These are the worst enemy in the game by far. Especially when they are infused. Just dumb. I see a lot of the changes I want in the game. So I won't say them again

ITS SO ANNOYING FOR NO REASON. as soon as you enter NG+2, you’re going to be using this thing a fair bit for smoothies, materials, etc. I should be able to dupe several at once, much like the crafting menu at the very least. Please address this, as this would save everyone so much time!

What kind of psychopath thinks the infected broodmother is too easy? I've tried two of my best builds against her and she kicks my ass, and I'm not even in my first New Game+ yet. NO, she is not too easy. If she has legitimately been nerfed then that's a good thing. I don't know because I'm too terrified to go back (even though i still need to get her trinket).
