Quick tip, some may not like it but I don't carry a torch , when it's dark I just turn up the gamma in the settings and It looks almost like daylight, so you save that extra slot ....can be annoying going back and forth with the settings but it does free up some backpack space

Great info i have been playing since release but going to start fresh when sept 27th comes around and been trying to figure things out on what was best to use i always had everything with me so i had no space for anything new so always had to return to base so never knew what was best to carry with me.

I just got my first ox beetle Hammer today and my charcoal canteen I'm excited I'm still not quite able to get through the termite's den. I'm almost there but I've only gotten my weapons to level seven so far and I can't get past that until I get past the termite den. I think. Also my armor I have to level 7. Of course as always, love the video and thanks for sharing what you think is best to use cuz I really do take your guys's advice and it helps out a lot with my gaming.

Instead of mint mace I use a minty black ox hammer, so I can kill and harvest with one thing

This is not exactly related to this video, although thank you so much for the evercharcoal light!!! I have a question. My weapons are almost breaking and all of them are requiring repair glue to be fixed, even after the update. Where do I find the repair glue?

You need to purchase & craft the glue masher. At that point, you can use different insect pieces to craft repair glue for all weapons & armor above level 6, not shields. Also anything below level 5 still requires the insect parts to repair.

Freaks come out at night, that's why you're out after dark🐧😄

I've got a rough idea already but Id love to see a video on armour types and whens best to use them. I see your late game like myself but I find myself using broodmother helm lvl 5+ with ladybug chest/ legplates with the +heal and dont really find myself bothering with any other armour because this provides me with great protection, a poison damage and slight self healing. I was wondering do you prefer to take specific armour to certain fights or do you just cruise in black ant armour upgraded for its set bonus? Thanks again! keep up the videos!

Appreciate the kind words! Typically I just run the Black Ant armor all the time for the perks. I change it up occasionally just to retry some armors, but I still prefer Black ant armor overall especially later in the game. I usually start with clover or grub, then go to ladubug, then I used Antlion armor for a long while, rolled with Koi armor for a bit then settled on the Black Ant armor lol.

I've got those as well. If I'm going specifically to a certain area for longer, I'll bring weapons for those particular insects.

Mushrooms don't give you health. Also, the termite spicy axe is king. It's my primary spider killer, no need for spicy coaltana to take a slot. Mint Mace is my secondary. (For tanky and infected bugs) You didn't show arrows taking up a slot either.

Referring to the mushrooms, I obviously meant filling up hunger & not health. Your spicy termite axe is an opinion as are mine in this video. Apologies for not mentioning arrows takin up a slot. Thanks for the review though. Did I miss anything else?

so looking at the ui i think we are getting a backpack or 2 t1 single row t2 2 rows? 2 rolls worth of space right under the inventory spaces...

Personal preference really. I like having a helmet that protects me as opposed to a light source.

I used the ever char torch 🔦 more then firefly helmet. It brighter and last a really long time and easily cheap to repair 1 charcoal chuck.

I've never seen that to be honest. I've played where I let chat control food/drink items & a few options have been just living off of dew drops & acorn bits or mushrooms. Unless they changed it recently, it's not a thing.

The shared worlds is down for Xbox and has been for days. I can’t find any info on it have you heard or seen anything?

Hi! How do you have enough resources to upgrade multiple weapons to level 9 prior to 1.0. Considering the Rad Nuggets are finite and there are not many of them currently. Please could anyone let me know how you are upgrading multiple to level 9? Thanks

Prior to nuggets, you could farm quartzite & other materials to your heart's content. Unfortunately now you'll have to use the recipes unlocked at a certain point.

But when I found out I couldn’t get my weapons to level 9 in this update due to finite resources, I had Doubt I’d be able to beat the broodmother. But it’s ok because it was easy enough with level 7 weapons and armour. Thanks
