Ground wasp nest murdered with tempo dust (multiple queens)
Ойын-сауық
In this video after doing a paper wasp removal the customer told me about a ground wasp nest their neighbor poured gas into. Curious as I am I investigated and found the nest was still super active so I took care of it for them. Remember to like and subscribe for more future wasp and hornet nest removal videos.

Making little boy gun noises when spraying the leftover squadron 🤣 Great job 👍💕😊
I also made the switch from Delta dust to Tempo. I reserve the Drione dust for the aggressive bald hornets nest. Keep up the good work. I’ve learned a lot from you.
Love how he squeezes them lol

I am just happy to be early for once, looking forward to your backlog of videos.
Tempo blows delta out of the water in terms of knockdown, I remember making this comment in several of your uploads this summer, and drione works even better than tempo though not enough to be worth the extra cost IMO. I would advise a respirator when using tempo even outside, it is far more harsh than delta on the respiratory system if inhaled.

The only thing with Tempo dust, if it gets wet, it is no good.

@@pjfoltz8810 That's true but if you are using it in a crack/crevice the chances of it getting wet are slim, and if you only need it to knock out a ground nest check the weather before application. In my experience Tempo knocks the nest out completely in under 24 hours, the last one I did had no activity, except random foragers who had been away from the nest during application, in around ten hours after I applied the dust. Another issue I have with Delta is the increasing amount of resistance in yellow jackets, the last nest I exterminated, I tried Delta first and it had no effect and I've heard this coming up from professionals quite a bit as well.

The problem with drione dust is that it makes them hot and pissy. Pyrethrins burn.
Your videos are so addicting I must be weird 😂
I love to hear the crunch of the queens! Thanks Again for another awesome video!
Too bad I can't drink cause I would like to go drinking with this dude
I have a yellow jacket nest under my concrete porch, which is 7 ft long/5ft wide, and maybe 3.5 ft high. They are getting in at the bottom of the porch, where there is a hole in between the ground and the concrete. I powdered their entrance at night pretty heavy, and activity has decreased about 80 %. They have found a new crack beside their old entrance they are now using, and I've powdered that as well. It's like they know the white powder is poisonous, and are trying to avoid it. I'm hoping they get the powder on their bodies and legs, and track it into the nest. Powders take longer than a spray, but usually are effective. Problem is under a concrete porch, they may have a hole in the ground for their nest, or attached the nest to the inside of the concrete porch ? The main ingredient is Pyrethine. I sure hope it works, and I have success like you did. Big nest you did, great video. Do you find the Tempo Dust works better than the Delta dust ? I believe the Delta dust is a milder poison, but it should still work. I hope I killed my nest. I think the Pyrethrine is the main ingredient in Tempo dust.
Loving the videos l was surprised at the number of queens as well Stay Safe ✌️
A man for all seasons! Will check out your automotive channel.
Your videos are awesome 😎
How are you not getting stung on your hands? I've had honey bees sting through my beekeeping gloves.

was wondering the same thing. homie got some dyneema gloves on or something
I love the affects of delta dust
Yeah, Tempo Dust has cyfluthrin, which has a little bit faster knockdown-effect than deltamethrin found in Delta Dust, so it is really good for wasps. Delta Dust has a better residual though, so it is popular among PCO's against ants, spiders and other crawling bugs. Just like permethrin. It's funny how seemingly similar molecules can have such different effects on different bugs. Like imiprothrin, for example, is fairly unimpressive controlling most pests, but it has the quickest knockdown with cockroaches. And Bifenthrin is the go-to for mosquitoe control when spraying bushes and puddles outdoors.

Would you think Cyfluthrin ( Tempo) works better that Pyrethrin, used in ( Drione Dust) I've used Pyrethrin on nest, under my porch.

@@grantp4022 Yes, in many ways. Pyrethrin usually does have fairly good knockdown effect, since it physically agitates insects, but it has no residual effect. Which is something you definitely want in a place such as under the porch, that is a magnet for wasps. Pyrethrin will stop working in about 24 hours.
Love your vids. 🙏
You switched to Tempo dust but YOU ARE STILL VIOLATING THE LABEL. The label is the LAW sir. The reason WHY you don't use Tempo or Delta Dust in this situation is watch it blowing away in the wind when you first use it and watch how much blows away when you dig up the nest. CB-80 is much more appropriate in this case. It is an expanding aerosol and it has ZERO residuals. It will kill the entire nest in seconds and offer no chance of secondary poisoning.
I love tempo products. I'm just a homeowner but I use tempo ultra sc and that takes care of about everything!!
My dude! Keep it up 👍
What's your opinion on Delta Dust? We have some yellow jackets under the slats in our porch upstairs. I thought it worked when I used it a few weeks ago but it looks like they just moved entrances. Doesn't seem to be killing them very well. There don't SEEM to be very many, even when I bang on the porch to draw them out I will say, but it's clearly not killing them all.
Tempo is my go to . Defense wasn't too effective
Do the dust you use differ in any way? Is Drione your preferred choice thanks again #wasphunter your content is great we need lots more though ❤
A fun video.
Nice video
maybe throw in a few details on the suit material -- how does is keep stingers out?
Knew someone that had a humongous carpenter ant nest inside the whole south wall of their home. They had to remove the whole wall and replace it.
With them flying through that dust cloud will that kill them?
What is tempo dust?
Just curious since I have never found a video on it what happens if you pepper spray bee's lmao 🤣 😂
You don’t happen to be in Michigan, do you? Any recommendations of someone from Michigan?

They haven’t made it out here to Chicago yet sadly. If you check my older vids I have done a few honey bee removals that were massive though
👍🐝
Man cleaning yuck It looks like whoever treated the nest before should have gone into the wall to get the old nest and to seal the area so that they don’t come back
Subbed and commenting for shib lmao
