it was a informative video I have been searching on internet for a days now and I couldn't figure it out how can I find the empty weight of a ship if I have gross tonnage net tonnage and dwt values my research is on salvaging of ships all I want to find out is the amount of steel used in the ship all the above wont give me the exact amount of steel because empty ship might have fuel etc many other things but estimate can be close to the empty weight of a ship can you please guide me how can I find the empty weight of ship if I have gt nt and dwt values

empty weight of ship can be got from 'stability booklet', under' light ship'( cannot get fm gt , nt , as this is volume of ship, - also , cannot get fm dwt, as this is weight of cargo, which can be loaded)

@@captchopra8218 thank you sir can I get the stability booklet easily or its difficult ? if I can where should I search for ? my research study is based on ships manufactured and salvaged I can get an Idea of ships manufactured from Hyundai's website and considering their share in global market I can estimate the manufactured ships I am stuck at the resources used particularly steel in construction of the vessels
