It definitely makes sense for people in certain jobs where a ring could get stuck or conduct current into your body. I don't do anything like that but to prevent my gold ring from becoming dented and scratched I use a much lighter titanium and much less expensive. This way if painting or doing yardwork I don't have to worry about it. That style makes perfect sense for many different circumstances. Good review and explanation for wearing the Groove Ring. Yes if watch is gear then ring is also. If you think you need a different ring for whatever reason these would make a great substitute.

Lol a very funny video 😂 but also a great safety point I wear a cheap version of one of these at work for the safety of it I work in custom manufacturing and many of the tools and equipment could definitely take a finger if they caught my metal wedding band so a great point of safety and a very entertaining video Sean keep up the great work

Nothing to do with this reviews topic, but I just ordered 2 Olights, the S2R Baton ll in green and the 13T EOS 180L slim. Got them due to good reviews by yourself and AKB. I will take the advice that I believe was to your credit of taking out the alkaline AAA it comes with and putting in an NiMh rechargable. You chose two excellent lights my friend, they’re two of my absolute favorites. Oddly enough I had a scenario about two days ago where the alkaline batteries in one of our TV remote controls leaked and completely ruined the remote. It was a total bummer, lol. But it was my fault for putting cheap Alkalines in there. I personally use the Amazon Basics brand NiMh rechargeables. They’re very cost effective and they have great capacity and run times. Hello Sean. I had seen these a lot on youtubers and wondered what they were. Then i recently saw JB's vid on these. To me a wedding ring has to be blessed by a priest and i cant see a priest blessing this. Never seen one being worn yet here. That said, i totally agree with what you said on the safety aspect. I lost my first wedding ring in the sea (cold fingers shrink, ring falls off) and was devastated. I wish i had been wearing one of these. All the best my friend.

I work in maintenance in a foam injection molding plant. I work on molds presses conveyors, welders and robots so I know what your talking about. Wearing metal rings is risky for several reasons so I wear a silicone ring my self. Thanks for the video.

The intro! 🤣😂 I love my Groove ring! I grabbed one for the safety aspect that i you up covered. De-gloving doesn’t look like much fun. 🤢 The only downside to silicone is if it happens to be a tad bit too tight, or if the backside is just smooth (no grooves to help it breathe), it can trap moisture underneath it and start to really irritate the skin where it contacts your finger. I had a camo Groove ring initially, and I had that problem. It seemed to shrink slightly over time (which is opposite of what normally happens with silicone rings), and it got a little too tight, trapping moisture. Come to find out, they use a slightly different compound for the camo ones to allow for printing on it. This apparently makes it behave differently. I switched it out under warranty for an original version, and it’s been fantastic ever since.

Got my ring finger jammed by a soccer ball a couple months ago and it swelled up a bit and hasn't come back to normal. Barely got my ring off the other day to put some lotion on my neglected hands. Couldn't get it back on afterward. Thinking this may be my move. It's the only piece of jewelry I wear anymore but I feel naked without it.

I am a safety guy as well and wear a Groove ring daily. So does my wife, she is a nurse. I went with Groove because they are better made than the cheaper silicone rings. The "grooves" on the underbelly of the ring do a good job of letting water or sweat flow out. This is a huge deal that they dont advertise as much as they should. I wash my hands frequently and sweat a lot during the hotter months. The cheaper, non-grooved variety makes the skin underneath the ring get water logged and slough off. Nasty, and irritating to the skin below it. Highly recommend these. Just my 2 cents.

100 bonus points for the singing! I have been happy with these rings over my traditional metal rings and safety is #1 priority! Nice video!

one ring to rule them all!!!!! I had a tungsten ring too, but my finger swelled up and took it off and got a Groove ring, best decision I ever made. Feel like I dont have a ring and never fear losing a finger. And it dont make sounds hitting things! If any one is thinking about it, just do it.

To the one saying getting a cheap silicon rings was a good decision. YES the comfort of this ring just cant be matched by any other type of ring. Its like a nice carbon fiber car seat looks good nice to sit in it, for about 1 hour then your ass had it. Or have a nice Lazy boy and you feel like your sitting on a fluffy cloud. Any way I can see it sounds off saying I made a good choice, but it depends on the person it self. Hope you have a nice heavy tight gold ring and enjoy it all to there own.

Right on man! That’s cool that you have this exact brand. I’m surprised how many people have commented that they wear groove rings. I didn’t realize how popular the brand is.

Been thinking about getting one of these. Think my grandfather had his ring melt on his finger and had to cut it (the ring not the finger).
