I don't know exactly what it is, but dub techno just captures the spirit of the perfect night life. Smooth, cool but energetic beats. Highly rhythmic and dedicated. Abstract like an empty mechanic shell but organic in texture. Some beats tend to be more groovy, while others have that "heartbeat" feeling as if you are in a womb. For me it is the pinnacle of electronic music.

Vittamar Akbin nicely said, i agree. I love the differences in tracks. How some can be groovy as hell and others very mellow. Really the only genre (or one of the only) that can make you want to drive down a city's highway in a luxury car at night or sit and look at nature during the day. Now if only i had an Aston Martin.

This music is excellent and the picture of downtown Chicago reminds me of so many times cruising up and down Lake Shore Drive (LSD) in my 20s.
