My Aunt has Shih Tzu and I have seen him stand still even while bathing. I was amazed by the level of commitment he showed. Well now he is going to have his pups and I am going to own one.

This Shi hTzu stands so still! She/he is so beautiful! I love her coloring it reminds me of a vanilla sundae with butterscotch!

I really appreciate how gentle and smooth your movements are. Some of the vids the groomers kind of dig at the hair and use choppy busy movements, like a big hurry to get done. You treat them with respect and kindness! Bless you : )

I've been a groomer for alkost 10 years and I love learning new techniques and I absolutely love this and cant wait to blend legs as you did!!!

Dog grooming is truly an art form.👍

I just found a shihtzu on the side of the road a few weeks ago poor things hair was completely matted, so glad to know this is what she could look like after all her hair grows back.

I'm not sure if it's the music or it's how well this dog is behaving but this was a very satisfying video to watch. Great job btw.

For those wondering how they stay still, its the leash at the collar that maintains this posture. That gently pull allows them to remain still/compliant.

My shih tzu would never stand up so proper like that , he would lay down on me when I mess with him bc he knows I can’t get to him if he lays down. So my haircuts come out weird . Now I just take him to the groomers . But this is so relaxing to watch ! I love this video !

Take a loop and put him on a table and be firm but gentle, it will work.

Aww.thats stinks you never seen a Shih tzu sit so well. I've never not had my shih tzu sit still for a grooming. One of mine falls asleep sometimes while getting groomed. Lol Craziest thing.

This baby was so well behaved and seemed to enjoy getting groomed.

What a show dog stanz, the owner should be proud, you did a great job with him/her. I work with mine for grooming, but my 7 year old has hip problems, he can not stand like that, worked with him since puppy, but, not all babies can handle the long stand, vet said puts alot of stress on their hips.

Shauna Eddy i have some tips 😄 Tip 1: You should always pet them until they stay still because they know you love them Tip 2: You should not hit them with a slipper or a hand it could make them go away even more Tip 3: Always hold their back while they lay down so they can feel relaxed and still Thats all 😄😄😄
