In case someone interested in translations of everything related to Grom then here it is but beware of huge text! Grom(Гром) - Based on the word "Громадный" or "Огромный" which means "Huge" Proverbs: Yolki Palki(Ёлки-палки) - It's a combination of words which verbatim means "Firs and sticks" but in reality doesn't have a specific meaning. It is used to express feelings of delight, amazement, bewilderment, annoyance or disappointment I am left with my own nose(Я остался с носом) - Means "to not get what you want", "to be left with nothing but yourself"(nose is a definition of something you already have) I will show you where lobsters spend winter(Я покажу тебе где раки зимуют) - It's a threat that you will teach someone a lesson or severely punish them With one left hand(Одной левой [рукой]) - Means "Very easy task" that you can make with just a left(more weaker) hand I am in chocolate(Я в шоколаде) - Means "Everything is very/insanely good" It was written on your forehead(Это написано у тебя на лбу/на лице) - Means "You're too obvious". Often used when someone is trying to lie but doesn't succeed What you sow you will reap(Что посеешь, то и пожнёшь) - Means "Everything you do will get back to you and it's up to your actions whether it will be something good or bad" I am jumping out of my pants(Я выпригиваю из штанов) - Do not confuse with "jumping out of the skin". This voiceline actually translates into "I am so excited that I'm jumping out of my pants". Basically this proverb exists just to show your excitement More walkie less talkie(Меньше разговоров, больше дел) - "Don't waste time and get back to work", often used by someone in charge, especially teachers lol. Also this voice line is a pun with the word "walkie-talkie" Don't rush the horses(Не гони лошадей) - Means "don't hurry". This proverb takes its place in the Russian Empire when horses were the only way to travel across the huge territory Don't move, I will be returning(Стой здесь, я скоро вернусь) - It's not truly a proverb as it means exactly what it says but I will point out this here anyway. This means "Wait for me here" Pancake(Блин) - Aside from a food(which is actually a bit different in Russia from pancakes that you probably know) this word also used by Russians to express strong negative emotions in a more polite manner(basically a replacement for a curse word that starts with letter "Б" and ends on "ть" that you can use almost everywhere and not be judged). Basically can be translated as "damn it" I'm not in my own plate(Я не в своей тарелке) - This used when you have a feeling of discomfort that you're not in a right place/company/mood I have a forepants of happiness(Радости полные штаны) - "I'm insanely happy"... This one probably was based on the fact you can poo your pants out of happiness. Don't ask me why lol I'll put you under my belt(Я заткну тебя за пояс) - Means "significantly surpass someone". Thx to the comments for this specific translation btw Other: Neeeeeeeeet(Нет) - "Nooooooo" Oi! What was this? - "Oi"(Ой) has the same meaning as "Ouch" Things exploding.... Gruz' toska - I assume "Gruz' toska" was supposed to be "Grust', toska"(Грусть, тоска). In this case this means "Sadness, yearning" which means "Very sad situation". Otherwise I'm not sure what this voiceline suppose to mean Optimism is lack of information(Оптимизм это недостаток информации) - It's just a quote of a famous USSR actress Faina Georgievna Ranevskaya Back then we all had to suffer(Тогда нам всем было нелегко) - I'm not sure but this could be an allusion for a WW2 because this specific phrase was often used by veterans. However it's so overused by younger people now that it's really hard to tell whether this an allusion or not

That line mostly implies that grom is from soviet times. It also implies that he is most likely in his 40s or 50s
now we have more proof that he could been a teacher because he says that the children are laughing at me
"dont forget the milk" thats sus🌚
The "мъедки падки" is actually supposed to be "ёлки палки" which means something like "holy crap". The pancake part refers to us, Russians saying "блин" as some sort of "damn" and "блин" spells the same as the word "блин" in Russian which means "pancake". The "ill show you where crabs live winter" refers to an old Russian saying "я покажу тебе где раки земуют" which sorta means something bad towards you, like a threat, but more playful. The part where he says "грустоска" is actually " грусть, тоска" which means being sad.

Grom is proper Russian guy. And it's not weird thing's, just russian sentences translated to english that's all.
The perfect fit for the last member of the Castle trio would probably be the guy Grom is speaking thru his walkie talkie (Bud), so Ash is the Castle, Grom is watchman, and the dude speaking to Grom would be the guard, but if Supercell changed that i would not mind.
