Eindelijk een video waar de zwarte en grijze kap gescheiden zijn. Ik snapte het al niet. Nu wel.

Thanks, like others that has saved me a lot of money. I had a little difficultly prising off the grey collar but once that was off everything went smoothly and I now have hot water coming out the tap again.

Fantastisch! Heel duidelijk. Heb eerst ringsleutel 24 gekocht. Stap voor stap gevolgd en nu werkt het weer goed! Veel dank!

That's the second time I had to clean the Grohterm 3000 on the inside. This vid made it a lot easier. Also the temp adjustment was off, now it is spot on again. Thanks!

Thanks! this helped for the 47450 Grohe themostat which is part of the Grohtherm 1000 (2005 model, google for the manual with exploded view). Also greased the O-rings with silicon grease. Be accurate to remove all lime scale, tiny bits remaining still can mess up the performance.

Thanks! When cleaning the inside, watch out for the thread. It's extremely sharp!

Yep. Just cut my finger quite deep, it's as sharp as a razor blade!

Thanks for the video! It helped me peek inside a thing that scared me :) Unfortunately, the water won't get properly hot despite my cleaning the inside thermostat.

You will definitely want to use a ring spanner instead of the spanner depicted in the video, especially if the thermostat has been flush mounted for over 20 years. Else you run the risk of stripping the screw rather than unscrewing.

Great video, thanks! Our thermostatic cartridge (looks almost the same as this one, and definitely is Grohe) is leaking/dripping but still supplies hot water. Will this procedure also help against the dripping? Or should I replace it?

I have a new thermostatic bath tap shower mixer which works fine, however when someone flushes the toilet or uses the cold tap it goes very hot . , I have an immersion heater plus my hot water is connected to a pump due to vary little pressure so hot water is slightly stronger pressure then the cold water from the mains, I just tested it out again. This time With a temperature probe I find getting 34c from the thermostatic mixer but as soon as I put on cold water on the kitchen tap I could see the temperature rise to 52c and stay at 52c for as long as I run the cold water on the kitchen tap.

@@askinaydin370 I had the same. The water temperature was lower after a good descaling. I bought a new one...
