Grocery Prices in Malaysia 2022 vs 2021 Comparison | How inflation affects prices of goods in 2022

Last year, I made a video about the price of goods in Malaysia. We went back to the same supermarket and checked the prices of the same goods we checked last year to compare how the price changed. On this video, I will share with you the comparison of 2021 vs 2022 prices of goods here in Malaysia.

Its nice to know Malaysian grocery stores will lower the price when there is extra supply. A lot of other (Western) countries prefer to keep the high price because they think people will buy it anyway, and they throw away what they cannot sell. Malaysia will lower the price if there is enough supply to feed everyone.

These videos are great so we know what the true cost is compared to USA. Beef is the #1 meat in USA, I was hoping to see prices steaks and hamburger!

Hi Honey, I was delighted to see this video of grocery prices in Malaysia. Were planning to migrate there, hopefully for good. I've been hearing good stuff about Malaysia. Also, prices of vegetables and fruits in the Philippines, particularly in Toledo, Cebu are definitely higher than what you have there. I'm also a call center agent here from a foreign BPO Company. Is it hard to get a job there as a Filipina???

Ringgit means Dollar and vice versa. However, the then Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in 1993 made the acronym RM official from the symbol $. Ringgit has been the official name since August 1975. However, it means the same thing. No need to apologize.
