    140 days into carnivore and the transformation is real & amazing! Beef, bround beef, pork chops, lamb, chicken, eggs, bacon, butter and cheese plus liver and bone broth is basically all I eat. Avoiding carbs like the plague, even quit the milk which I NEVER thought I`d do. Down 50 pounds, no more insomnia or depression, energy is trough the roof, feeling mentally and kinetically smarter, generally finding much more joy in life, chocolate addiction is gone, skin so much better, even eyesight improving and possibly reversing my vitiligo slowly. I would have the occational orange after going carnivore (told myself it was for c vits even tho beef and liver got those aplenty) but the cravings just went away after a while like it did for chocolate and milk and other carby things. Fairlife whole milk has only 6 g of carbs per cup (that I use when I'm not using heavy whipping cream) but if you've already broken the habit I wouldn't start it back up again. Saturated fat is the only thing that made me stop craving sugar when I first began keto. Nobody could be more addicted to sugar than I was when I first started keto/carnivore. Occasionally I will have unsweetened coconut milk in the dairy section but not very often. Always fit butter in and maybe 2 smallest heads of cabbage per year. Unfortunately I just can't eat only meat every day not enough money and the meat we get here and my town is full of stuff we don't want. (corn fed beef)

    Others may know this cut as Picanha. My husband and I eat it approx. 5 days a week. We are in Canada and our local Costco (Abbotsford, B.C.) carries the 2 pack for $7.99/lb. I sous vide each piece whole for 6 hours at 131 degrees. Then throw it in the fridge. At meal time I slice into steaks and cook in the air fryer at 375 until it reaches 130 degrees. It is delicious.

    So the carnivore diet is so good that you have to take artificial supplements to avoid illness. Can you see the elephant in the room?

  • @KatJaguar1122

    @KatJaguar1122

    Ай бұрын

    @@ian7033-qj9wgLMNT is not artificial supplements. It’s salt and minerals derived from mined salt. When switching to keto whether carnivore or keto with low carb vegetables, one has to increase salt intake because carbohydrates cause water retention in the body. Eating extra mineral salt that was mined is best for people first starting any keto or carnivore and will prevent “keto flu” from the body adjusting. After adjustment period, many people can drop the salt intake entirely as this KZreadr (steak and butter gal) has. It depends upon the person of course and what their particular health issues have been, and also what kind of meds or other garbage has been put in their body. So I would not get on such a high horse about things.

    Healing here for lyme disease, shout out for lyme ! 🎉🎉 4.5 months and counting! Feels great. My stomach feels quiet, pain is reduced, mood is stable, blood sugar is stable, down to 2 meals a day just fine, NO MORE BOILS, skin is great, energy is better, and i can even see the improvement gappening in front of my eyes on my NAILS. So cool Get this, before I started, all i was eating was beets and meat for 3 months. Cutting out the beets was huge. Before that, I've been gluten free sugar free for 10 years. I did the candida diet, sibo diet, gluten free general diet, elimination diet, started eating meat again, started yogurt, cut out all latex fruit allergy syndrome foods (there are more than 40), cut out sulfur foods, cut out pesticides, went keto & tried the gaps diet, and even cut out milk yogurt finally even though i thought my body was fine with it. Before this, 10 years before now, i was hardcore low fat high carb vegetarian for 15 years. And sick, may I add The changes were all great decisions, advised by my ND. But I have confirmed many times- cutting the very last safe, low sulfur, latex free vegetables was key!! It was the oxalates! Im also amazed that ya'll were right- fiber is not necessary! I was taking a fiber blend drink daily. On carnivore its not needed! Fat, salt, water and movement regulate everything just fine! Go carnivore!! 🎉🎉🎉

    Great video. Thank you. I'm considering this diet because I have felt HORRIBLE for years. My diet consists of pizza, Chinese takeout, hot dogs and beans, occasionally a piece of cod with rice and a vegee...and lots of coffee with Coffeemate caramel creamer. Up until a few months ago, I was bingeing daily on ice cream. I'd eat lots of cookies, candy and huge blueberry muffins with sugar crystals on top, then crash 20 minutes later. I am frequently incredibly tired, especially between 4-8 pm, so much so that i was prescribed amphetamine. (My PCP has never asked about my diet. He says it's probably a sleep disorder because I told him I don't sleep well.) I get horrible heartburn to the point where I've woken up coughing after vomiting in my mouth. I know it sounds disgusting...it is! But I'm hopelessly addicted to sugar and carbs. I literally can't stay awake at work. I've had to close my door and lay on the floor. I drive to the grocery store , but I.m so tired that I recline the seat and nap for as long as 2 hours. I'm too tired to exercise or cook or clean my house, so I order takeout 5-6 times a week. My brain is so foggy that my short term memory is shot. I can't even remember 1 thing, let alone 2-3 things. I'll be talking with someone and I can't focus on what they're saying. I also have chronic pain that pops up everywhere, especially my back and neck. Amazingly, my labs are not bad. My A1C is in the normal range and is lower than a friend of mine who eats much better than me and exercises. The thing is...I FEEL HORRIBLE! I'm going to try the carnivore diet because I know a few people personally who say have a lot more energy and they sleep better. Those are my top goals. Losing fat would be great, but I just want to feel better. The only thing is that I despise eggs, no matter how they are cooked. There is no way I could ever eat a fried, boiled, or scrambled with meat.. Is there a way I could eat eggs disguised as something else? I can eat french toast but bread is out with this diet. Some carnivores on TY recommend staying away from processed meats while others say it's okay to eat hot dogs, sausages, salami, etc. What do you think? Thanks for reading and for the great info!

    If you enjoy sardines, the Dollar Tree sells wild caught sardines and smoked herring in water. Great cheap snack.

    I've done well buying a whole chuck roll... The last time I cut 17 steaks and had 3 good sized chuck roasts remaining. Chuck eye, Denver, and Sierra steak! Yum
