I too would like to see a race on pavement. I have both the Grizzly 700 and Brute Force 750. The Grizzly... I would take it anywhere with absolutely no worries.

The Brute must be running on one cylinder

That was a complete waste of time. Tell that Brute rider to give it some gas, because there is absolutely no way a Grizz would beat a Brute in a drag race if things are equal. Absolutely no way. Even all the Yamaha fans I know admit to this fact.

Grizz 700 is a fantastic bike! Good all around champ. But I've never had one beat the brute force. Brute is monster in bottom end.

Tell the Brute driver to loosen the governor screw behind the throttle!!! There’s no way a Grizzly beats a Brute!!

Traction is always a big part when racing on loose gravel like that. Some machines also just don't work right and others are ringers for some reason. But overall if you took 100 of both machines and raced em, the brute would win probably 90% of the time. Seen so many brutes run right beside can am 1000's in that 0-40 range and I've seen, including my own brute beat Polaris 850's the odd time. After owning one the best I can figure is the clutch and torque put to the actual wheels on a brute force is very very effecient. They are an over achiever for sure. I remember when I first picked up my brute at the dealer, did the first thing ever guy does on a new machine, hopped on and whacked it to the bar in the lot, and I damn near flipped the thing over backwards! Lookin like a total idiot in front of the salesmen. I was like holy shite I had no idea these thing pulled like that! It's only rated at 50hp? WTF I had just rode my buddies first gen xmr 1000 for the first time the weekend before and it wouldn't pull the front end up, I was so disappointed after the hype up of them at the time. So it goes to show ya, all machines aren't equal based on paper numbers. Weight plays a huge role too. The brute is the lightest of the v twin big bores, and with Japanese reliability the whole package is a great one. Now if kawi would get their shit together and update the machine, maybe they could take the Crown!

It’s all about the driver!

Grizz is a great bike, but the Brute is a torque monster. Put those rigs on pavement…

@@Joe-mp4nw because of reliability, 4x4 system, best CVT in the game. The extra power of the Kawi isn’t worth the inherent problems I’ve heard.

Brute is just spinning out because it puts down too much power. Both nice quads though

I had had both still have grizzly. Grizzly cannot come cl I see! Both are great wheelers, brute much faster grizzly smoother on trails. My brute would pull the front tires hard!!
