Grit Grips Frame Review / What Glock and the others wish they could be

Full disclosure, I received this to review from Grit Grips. That being said I took some time to evaluate it and just get the feel of it. The only instructions for reviewing it were to be honest. I feel that this frame is exceptional and truly made to be held. I encourage you to branch out and check out Grit Grips. #tacticalshooter #pewpew #edc #everydaycarry #firearmstraining #2ndamendment
The frame was legally transferred at my local ffl and I am the sole owner of the firearms used in this video. I do not sell firearms.

    This isn't the first review you have done that I’ve seen, but it is the one I most enjoy. I'm glad to see more established KZreadrs doing a review of the Grit Grips 19 frame. This is hands down the best Glock clone frame. The texture and grip angle set this apart, and being a fellow lefty, having a reversible mag release further sets it apart!

    Bro, seriously. You need to give them a try. I know I’m fairly positive with most things . I’m kinda of a glass half full kinda person by nature but I seriously kick myself for buying 2 CA frames when I could have been running the GG19. I’ll be dropping more content with the complete firearm. Take care man

    I’ve commented on other videos about the web area of the CA19 being too bulky to not have a tail on it…. You’re the first reviewer to mention that…. You might be motivation for me to finally start this page I’ve been procrastinating on for 2 years

    The GG frame really excels at ergonomics. The texture is great and the shape is more reminiscent of an M&P, but with that great trigger guard shape. Holster compatibility is a tremendous advantage too. What I had noticed about the Combat Armory frame is that it's the closest to oem but with the finger grooves deleted and the corner knocked off the trigger guard. The CA frame has some issue with the hole where the magazine spring inserts where it seems looser, so that mags are a bit too easy to release.

    Ergonomics and texture are both done so well and that was my biggest and first impression. Holster compatibility is great too. I’ll try to touch more on that when I do the range review. After really examining this vs the CA frame I see how simple other designs are. Thanks for sharing and watching. Take care

    Had a g19 gen3 sitting in the safe for 20 years. Saw so many videos of people stippling and re contouring their frames I started to research how much it would cost. Holy S***! Couldn’t believe how much companies were charging! Don’t send your frame away just buy a Grit Grips frame. It is so comfortable and grippy. An added bonus is the overall grip reduction and mag release. I would have to break my grip to do a reload with a stock frame but not with the Grit Grips! This is what a gen5 should be!

    Exactly, this is honestly the first frame that really took the time to get all of the ergonomics correct. Glock changes, but slowly. To me other companies added some flair to things but still lacked the ability to truly fit the hand. Another impressive thing is the quality of production. Other frames have manufacturers marks and you can quality control is lacking. Not with GG , it has the feel and look of high quality along with a sought after look that like you said if sending off will cost a good deal of money. Take care out there and thanks for sharing

    Im almost 100% sold.. just wondering why the frame has an option for another part. The locking block. Is that for scratch buiders, orfor folks who already have a glock19 and wanna switch frames?

  • @RandoWayne

    @RandoWayne

    7 күн бұрын

    The locking block is a necessary part but you can get a serialized frame without one that more a from scratch option to buy whatever parts you want or you can get a frame with everything there and ready for a slide. Or you could take a gen 3 g19 and swap all parts over and be good to go also

    This takes Glock internals. The locking block on the dagger is different than the needed oem Glock one needed here.

    Does this fit glock holsters?

  • @RandoWayne

    @RandoWayne

    2 ай бұрын

    Yes they do fit most Glock 19 holsters . I usually run lights so it does fit all of those holsters I have based on what light I have as the light it where the retention is based. I did use a couple cheap Amazon holsters with no light to give it a rough fit and it fit them just fine.

    To be honest the first frame I received was complete so did not assemble it. I have since replaced or assembled a few and each time i used basic aftermarket sets without issue. I will take pins over roll pins though. If I would have found an issue myself I would have mentioned it though, thanks for watching.

  • @RandoWayne

    Shortly after filming the Glock clone comparison video I sold the sct frame at the local gun store. Sct had texture but not where you need it for a good grip. Grit grips is seriously worth a shot. I tried quite a few and this is by far the best yet.
