Always been a big fan of deano since we saw him work his way up the 250 class, accomplished great things on the 250, just bad luck in the 450 class but he's always coming back from career ending injuries for most, he works so hard to get back out there and make the best of it. Great guy

Such a freak accident. One of the most interesting and obviously toughest riders out there. Fun to watch race and real fun follow off the track! 💪🏼 🏍💨

Deano is one bad dude! The shit he’s gone thru racing would end most people’s careers! Yet he seems to always bounce back! Bummer that next year is gonna be his last year. I’ve watched him grow his whole career. That little skinny kid on a big 250 and now he’s that big kid on a 450! Super super nice guy! Always takes time out of his busy day to speak to his fans! Got to talk with him years ago at Oakland for like 20 minutes. Super friendly, humble, polite and super funny! He is probably the only pro that gives back in this sport! How many bikes has he given away to kids out of his own pocket! Not just bikes, but full gear as well! Even when his filmer got all his stuff stolen, Dean bought him a new 450 and gear out of the kindness of his heart! Grandpa Earl had us all rolling with laughter and not a single person has topped his hilarious opening ceremonies video! The sport needs more Dean Wilson’s in it! Thank you Deano! We are all gonna miss you when you are gone! Hopefully you find some way to stay in the sport. Get in the booth and call some races. Be a team manager, etc

I'm just still curious why they didn't red flag the race for him with just over 10 mins left? Baffled!

I agree. Yes, he was off the track, but his life and health was far more important than not messing with the tv schedule. They definitely should have red flagged the race to get him out and to the hospital.

When body fluids are coming out of any rider STOP the damn race and take care of them FIRST. It's not like he had a little cut on his finger.

That's why I never liked super sharp pegs on any of my dirt bikes! Not so much because I feared for my bunghole, but rather die to the sheer amount of carnage they have caused! I cut in a bunch of smaller square blocks sorta like gimping on the pegs, not razor pegs... I never knew that his bike stuffed him, after he stuffed it! 😨😱

Only if mental strength and persistence could win championships because Deano would’ve had a bunch of wins. To put your body thru so much and still come back. Can’t say he didn’t try
