Big Facts!!!! Big Daddy can was the first hiphop superstar to me. He became my bar, my prototype emcee. He was Jay before Jay to help visualize. Kane could take photo in the hood and then be in a photo with Hollywood Stars and It felt like he took us into those places. I feel the same about Jay.

When I first heard "Gods Don't Bleed", that shit immediately took me back to that era, specifically some Wu-Tang shit. And the "Wrestlemania 20" track kinda reminds me of RZA's "Grits" feat. Masta Killa. Not exactly like it, but the overall vibe.

They say that because they either haven't heard hard drums over a sample in mad long or they're too young & didn't live through those years. None of those Daringer beats sound like something RZA or Havoc produced but I can hear the influence if that makes sense. They're too slow to be compared to boom bap beats from the early to mid-90's.

A couple of Baby records, a Da Baby record, YNW Melly murder on my mind and a couple of others, but nothing I play ton. No Blueface, YGB (?) Duck, King Von, Furk. Moneybaggs etc. I can't do it, so when these guys dropped it took me back to the 90's and I am from NYC which is where these guys sound like they are from. I can see why HOV wanted them to stay together.
