Actually, the TBM itself is less critical for inclination of the tunnel. But it has quite some impact on the logistics and 5% are manageable with little effort. Herrenknecht has designed and used Gripper machines with special design for inclinations. Robbins is scrap, without technological inovation. Robbins is not able to manufacture machines in their headquarter in Solon. Their machines are manufactured in Italy www.adamantissrl.com/?page_id=112 and in China by other companies. This is one of the reason why the quality of their machines will be completly different.

I found this to be pretty boring
