Hey Luuk, currently playing 5plo zoom on stars because Im still a plo newbie. Been doing alright, up like 15 buyins and learning heaps along the way with a long way to go. I wanted to check out the 10plo zoom tables but the 10plo and 25plo on stars have an ante, do you have any tips for those ante games? Also Im a bit confused on certain spots like this one: I open in the cutoff with a hand like a876 suited to the ace and I get called by the bb. The flop is k54 with a flush draw. So I flop a wrap with a backdoor nutflush draw. I cbet 60% pot and the bb raises pot. I call and the turn is a j giving me the nut flush draw. Bb bets pot leaving himself like 30 bb behind. What should I do in a spot like this? Call and fold if I miss? Just get it in on the turn? Cant see myself folding so much equity, so I dont know what is generally best. Player tendencies at 5plo tell me that villain is gonna have a set of kings most of the time here. Sorry for the long post, hope you can help!

Hey Tim, Betting flop here is fine, especially if you also have one Flush blocker in your hand. Checking back without would also be ok here though, its a hand that can go either way. vs XR you should call which is the right play. Its not a great spot as its likely your opponent will have T2P +, but you have enough equity and nuttiness to call. Turn call on a blank that gives you the NFD is good. Raising doesnt make too much sense here to me, your opponent will never fold anymore and we dont have a made hand yet. However you will have at least 33% equity here to call. If you import your hand into ProPokerTools (which is free, check it out if you google for it) I created a similar situation, i dont know the turn ofcourse and exact hand, but you have 38% equity here with a hand type like yours, so you could even stack off, assuming SPR is lower than 2. Hope this helps. GG. Feel free to join our discord channel and come talk plo strategy with other players who play similar games as yourself.

Thanks! I wouldnt use the cashout option on stars, one of the reasons being I believe there is a fee attached to it.

HM3 is what I used over the years and I really like it. But its probably a bit personal as well or what you are used to. Both can do the job for sure.
