Never occurred to me that what we call a popsicle, you call a lollypop. To Americans, a lollypop is a candy. A frozen juice treat is a popsicle.

Strongbow from a Brit, most Brits would agree on the lollypop thing, and would call a popsicle an ice-lolly.
That's really awesome to see.
Another great video! I can't wait to start making hammers!!!

Thanks Drdre!! Really appreciate it! Look in the description to see the song :)
must have been a 12 plus hour day! those hammers look sick though!
How did you come about all of your tools (mechanical hammer, etc)? What advice do you have for others?
@AlecSteele

By making things for people in exchange for money and giving money to people for machines! eBay, Craigslist etc has helped me find a lot of great used equipment! My advice - make some money and buy some tools! I don't know how much more complex it should be 😃😃
I still question it everytime you mention the word "Lollipop" to an Australian a "Lollipop" is a hard confectionery sweet on a stick. Our term for it is either "ice-cream" or "icy-pole" Yet again, another great vlog, Alec, really enjoying the behind the scenes looks at what goes on in your workshop!

+Alec Steele You're most welcome Alec, good to see us young people using social media and different platforms constructively!
Could you tell me who your steel supplier is?
Are you still selling hammers, rounding hammers. 3lb?
How did you treat you bracelet so that it doesn't turn your skin green?
I've always wondered this - why is there a pile of pallets & a truck on a trailer outside your workshop?

My neighbours put up with me - I put up with them! (Sometimes begrudgingly, as this is a case that particularly bugs me!...)
What music track is that? Thanks!
Fiskars makes darn good scissors though.
Is the IYS an organization that you can join or is it more of a event that happens every year and did you make your belt grinder

Im not even sure I know how best to describe it - essentially - it is a program Brian Brazeal set up and was based around giving young blacksmiths the information to be able to go and teach others how to forge metal. It happened once a year for 3 years or so. Sadly, due to insufficient funds and interest we haven't done one since!

I bought the belt grinder!
Hey Alex I'm really enjoying your shows! Is Sam an employee? Don't they have maximum work hours in a day in UK? Or are you bringing back the old apprenticeship style slave labour? Oh and you should put the link to your new channel in your KZread channel list! Thanks for great content from Canada!
Not sure if you are aware of this, but your steering wheels on the wrong side of your car. like the channel and your work..

He did a video about it, I think. Search for 'how to forge a cupping tool'.
Can I look forward to a physique like yours with a few more years of Blacksmithing Alec? Cuz welding for 40 couldn't put me in the good shape you're in! that's 1 way to get more females into Blacksmithing.
been to your site. now if the rest of the world could follow in your foot steps. we'ed have more peace and less war.

Are those safety glasses you wear? Seems like risky work without safety specs. I'm no safety Sally by any means but I've had an eye injury and it ain't fun!
