This got me here, not disappointed 😂

Goddam. I just listen to this song today for the first time. It blew me away. Un-fuckin'-believable.

I remember watching this live with my roommate at the time. I was excited to see Nick and the boys do their thing. Forgot he took a few hits of acid about 30 mins before.. he looked frightened and didn't say a word. For the next 5 hours he made more buzzing sounds than complete normal sentences. It was fucked up. Anyways, so glad I found this.. such a great performance.

Haaaaaa. Well. Good thing. Maybe the buzzing helps with the sales. If he made it through that with minor side effects for....life. then it's all good. Good man Anthony. I wonder what he recalls. The beers knees. 🍻 intrigued. Feeling better that I know he's not in a psyc ward buzzing away.

Every time I watch this, I imagine Dave's face and I laugh.

This is beyond amazing. Remember seeing this "live" on tape. Would have loved to see Dave shake their hands again. But glad the performance lives on....

Love this! Love his movements, his vocals.....everything....he is fabulous!

@shalaholo actually warren ellis (the guitarist) is about 6 feet tall, that guitar is just a tenor guitar, a guitar with 4 strings instead of 6, and about half the size.

BTW Ellis was/is playing a mini strat, you can find em at most guitar shops. The guy plays his cymbals with that, his violin and his marracas!

It's a 1960's 4 string Fender "Mandocaster"; basically an electric mandolin, nout to do with a strat and defo not available at most guitar shops...

Yeah, Warren has such a wild and ragged look. He looks like he just crawled out of a garbage can out in the alley ready to rock and got on stage. And there was a bit more to this. Dave shook hands with Nick, said "Hi, Nick," and appeared to be thinking "Is this the same man who performed a beautiful ballad on my show just a few years back?" He then asked him if they named their band after the grinder girl from the "Will It Float?" segment, to which Nick laughed and replied "No."
