Grindelwald Switzerland - Grindelwald First - Bachalpsee 4K
Grindelwald is a very famous mountain village in the Jungfrau region in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. If you take the gondola up to Grindelwald First, you have various hiking possibilities. A very easy hike goes to the Bachalpsee. This beautiful mountain lake can be reached in 50 minutes. Come with us on a wonderful trip in the Swiss mountains.

We had an unusual heat wave in September with temperatures above 30 degrees. Unusual were also the temperatures at 2000 meters above sea level. Even there it was 20 degrees. Therefore, I had to look a bit with my furry friend @rastawhiteshepherd what trips we make. We decided to visit Grindelwald First. The plan was to stay overnight and then get up early the next morning to hike to Bachalpsee.
It was really beautiful and even with the temperatures it was bearable because we were on the road so early. As always you can read the details of our trip on my Patreon page. You can find the link to the blog article in the first comment.

Yes, I actually do not like to get up early but as soon as you are outside and see the beauties, everything is forgotten :)

I just dod tjis hike yesterdsy, its mostly uphill, took me more than an hour to get there, it was hot..but the lake was beautiful.❤

Love the video and a very nice Milky Way shot! Didn't fancy trekking up the Faulhorn then? 😄 BTW have you heard of a program called Sequator? It's ideal for stacking shorter exposure starfields separately in that kind of landscape shot to get sharper images with less noise - I'm afraid astrophotographers are notorious for pixel-peeping at star-shapes 🤣

No, the Faulhorn would have been a bit too far for everyone overall :-) Yes I know that there are still techniques that reduce noise - but I prefer the simple variants :)
