and the other half think that battle rap isnt just about diz and we appreciate people like qp,chilla jones,lux,arsonal,hollow,thesaurus,40barrs,daylyt,b magic, to name a few that have evolved this. i dont argue that diz has had some contribution but its basically got to his head and these days isnt as good as when he had to prove himself. never the less this was a good battle to watch. and i didnt have to write in cps to get my point across...u may now rant

djemtek well, literally anyone in any field isn't as good as when they were proving themselves, since you have to build a name for yourself, you put in 135% effort into it. A great example is Eminem. He had 3 albums with a real message behind it, trying to imply he can be lyrical and have heart. But after proving himself, its less of that and more proving his technical ability. So his music lost some of that heavy emotion he put in before. Same with Dizaster, his best battles are either rare nowadays or in the past especially his Caustic and Jerzy Swift battles. Now he's more about technical ability(ex: his battle vs Pat Stay which I honestly believe he 3-0'd). The rare moments include his 2 rounds vs Math, his 2nd vs Cortez, Pat Stay, and his first 2 rounds vs Cass. As an added bonus, to me a lot of punchlines Cass used were either some old 2003 shit or cringe worthy. He had 4 or 5 hype men, mixtape bars and his fame gave him a bit more crowd reaction. It was more people surprised that he had battle material that was hitting a bit. Plus his delivery is on Clips level, so another rapping salesman. If he had come into the battle how Ab-Soul did,I'd say 2-1 or even 3-0, but as is, 2-1 Diz. But that impersonation was hella funny, I'll give him that.

djemtek What does proving yourself have to do with anything? He proved he can rap that’s all that happened. Eminem himself stated he still tries to prove himself and no one brought that up, but Eminem. What’s wrong with trying to prove you are or can be better than what people “work hard” on? I agreed with the respecting others, but you sound like A dumbass saying he proved himself like that’s A bad thing when all those names including anyone ever had to or DID prove themselves.

Except this multi made perfect sense in and out of rap, what you did was the generic stereotypical multis we heard at Scribble Jam. "Soul Khan put you so far into the ground, Imma need sonar in a boneyard just so your skull shards can be found" is a multi and a metaphor for how badly QP got beat by Soul Khan.

one of the best perfomance and delivery from diz ever IMO

Two thing about Diz in this battle first: Amazing choking rebuttle, second: the "oh i forgot about you" was Done for the first time here and has been copied by alot of people. Qp always dope though.

He's such a technical monster he turned "I'm retardedly better than whover I'm battling" into a *gimmick.* Too bad the entire scene has been trying to Harrison Bergeron him for years now. Look it up stupid. There are two kinds of people - talented and not talented. If you're truly talented, you have experienced the way people will try to hold you down. If you are the kind of person who knows what it's like to be great at anything, you know how much people love to tear down people who make them feel small. And if you're not, you're probably a Dizaster hater.

Why? Polar bears live in Arctica, one of the coldest places on earth. Basically the coat is the bears main source of heat, so without it, it could be pretty cold for them. As it may sounded cheesy, it was actually very creative and logical.

At best Diz is a gimmick. His bars are not even that good. I've watched a number of his battle and I can't see why he get's the praise he does. The crowd was going crazy and he didn't even say anything nice. He just makes words rhyme but isn't saying anything dope. His style is really childish at best. I'm not hating. I've just seen so many battle raps and listen to real lyricist.

The politzer prize line was bit from copywrite. Album is called the high exaulted.
