I was born in Grimsby and brought up in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. This is a fantastic video with amazing editing. How times have changed. Thank you for sharing.

Cheers Mark. My ancestors came from Grimsby (working around the docks) so it was interesting to research this one.
If only we could do that physically, the world in the past was such a better place in so many ways
I've never been to Grimsby, but I've seen the Dock Tower from the other side of the River Humber, at Spurn Point :)

Cheers Kevin - there are hundreds more videos like it on my channel - feel free to take a look!
The good old days.
One of those 2 boys in the 1944 Victoria Street photo could well be my father. He was 10 years old then and born and raised on Orwell Street.

It’s a wise child that knows its father.🤫
Ace werk man love it
What about Bath Street where I used to live.
Do tivinton st
They have wrecked Grimsby by making the town centre a pedestrianised zone and by getting rid of some of the railway like this has been done in the rest of the country. It would be good if the railways could be restored or improved.
Just another example of how to ruin a thriving British industry and let Europe take all the spoils
Forward to 2025 and the image's are blocked with thousands of Albanians. 😂
