I just LOVE this type of work by Grimes, it was never released and very underrated but to me it's like out of this world. Also her singing here is so fitting cause she's singing in Saturanian so it sounds perfect, Lol.

here's the thing, I've just read a whole conversation on Grimes recent work, art Angels, and read many people expressing their disappointment..."oh I only liked one song" "oh she sold out" "oh my porridge has crushed glass in it" come on... seriously...for real...for reAelZzeze......how can you expect to completely enjoy someone's work 100% of everything they ever did? dude, I mean, for anyone who is an artist, a musician, or some type of creator, I say this, and ask this question: are you 100% completely and utterly satisfied with your own work 100% of the time?????..... I'm gonna go out on a twig of a limb and say Hell's to the no. that does not happen. it's logically impossible, in all possible worlds...somehow there is always something that has a flaw, and then inspires further creativity, improvement, and we strive to make something we like even better, and so on and so on and so on....

I like the album. Her old work was very simple loop based music. That was 10years ago and she's now 30. She said that for 'Visions' the label wanted it done way too early. So she boarded up her windows, locked herself in her room (probably the one in the picture on Black Hair) and she didn't see a person the entire time or eat for 9 days and she finished it in 13 days. Are we all suggesting we lock her in a room again?

She didnt sell out. I think we’re just used to her stripped back stuff... now its over produced (which is great for her as shes growing) but it does lose its magic. However, i like new grimes stuff.. i prefer her okd stuff more tho

@@theoneandmany1990 You're right, on the one hand! As for myself, as a fan, I can say that I'm obsessed with a lot of her older stuff. For example, I know all the versions of Saturn princess and can listen to it over and over. When it comes to MA, I myself, personally, thought 'So heavy I fell through the earth' was pretty and special and there were songs on the album I thought were really cool like ' We apprecitae power 'Violence' ect. but I would say, around half of the album, I listened to once and that was pretty much enough for me. Maybe she had a dead line and so half of the album came out songs, I myself find less original and less good, that I felt she she kind of sold out. That's my personal feeling as a long time fan of Grimes which is also legitamet, I think.

listen to the album art angels very closely and read what its about on genius.com with the lyrics and info. if then you still dont like it then you dont understand her well enough to state such a crime as to call darling grimes music horrible, im committed and i too was aware of the changes in her style but i came to embrace them and hope you can learn to do the same, she has a lot of beautiful things to say.

I listened to "art angels" and the only thing i can say is this: she is became oik. She decide to sell her soul to commercial market. Is considerable a possible comparison between "Art angels" and "Halfaxa" or "Geidi Primes"? NO! The only thing I save are videos, first of all is "Butterfly" : I live in Rome....and I love the place chosen and I know them so well. :)

Kristian Rosenzweigen whatever. You're fucking mind is closed. I'm an artist of all kinds the same as her and I know what she's going through and that it's not fake or even mainstream. What radio is she on everyday singing songs she didn't write feeling feelings that aren't hers that's what selling out is and that's what you are saying she did but actually she dabbled in a style you didn't like and weren't familiar with and instead of familiarizing things that you didn't like you decided that someone else's art was lame because you didn't care enough to set personal distance aside. No one is right or wrong but I can say that you are not a true fan or lover of art or music.
