Yep, the food network doesn’t know what a talented Mexican chef you are Arnie ! You should have your own show and hope Bobby Flay comes and challenges you to a Mexican throw down ! That would be a blast !!

I guess, if you want to be literal about it. If he was born here in Texas, I guess you can say he is Texan but we both no most people won't see it that way. Forgetting the fact that Texas did belong to Mexico but ehhh either way food is delicious. Lol

@@RrssTVbro… tejano cultura is Mexican culture. Texas was Mexican up till the republic of Texas defeated Santa Anna at the battle of san Jacinto. To say Texas isn’t Mexican is really splitting hairs that don’t need to be split. Texas is as Mexican as it is part of the United States. Culturally, historically and geographically.
Arnie! I made these tacos tonight with the salsa Verde, your mom's Mexican rice recipe, and your refried beans.... to say this was the best plate of food I've made for me and my family is an UNDERSTATEMENT. The flavors were amazing! We all did a little dance and I'm pretty confident by the end of the night we will all be sporting Arnie Tex mustaches 😂😂😂 Thank you for the great tips and wonderful recipes! This will be a staple in our house for sure! ❤

I feel really bad for his neighbors. They have to come home from a long day at work and smell all this awesome food and they aren’t having that for dinner!
First off let me say that tacos al pastor are my favorite tacos hands down. I have never been able to make a good marinade for them, until today. I made this marinade just now and all i can say is you are my mexican food mentor for ever. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Arnie - I've learned so much from you. You're an amazing teacher and I appreciate you sharing what you know with the rest of us.

The excitement you get preparing dishes is wonderful! Thank you for sharing your passion with the world!
Al Pastor are my favorite. I appreciate all the work that goes into them. I’m impressed so next time I buy some tacos I’ll appreciate them even more. Arnie your videos are so cool and informative. 👍👍

Ho, I'm Puerto Rican, my boyfriend is gringo and we both absolutely love Mexican food. Ive learned to make a few things and im so happy I've found you because i like and appreciate the real and authentic Mexican food and I can see you make the absolute best. Ive never made the 😅 nor the green salsa so im definitely going to try that next and the trompito too. Thank you! 💕
Thank you for this Arnie! My Dad and I watch every video you post, and we finally got a chance to make this with your salsa verde. It came out incredibly, best tacos we’ve ever had (and I used to live in Austin!). You’re the man, keep the smoke light and rock on 🤙🏼
I Love "Taco Chronicles"! One of my most favorite shows to watch. Great job, Arnie!
I thought maybe eating before I watch these videos would prevent me from getting hungry, but nope. I'm only a minute in and I'm ready for some these tacos, they look amazing! 🤤 I'm glad you pointed out using a coffee grinder for spices, there's a spare one around here somewhere and I'd have never thought to use it for that, so thanks for that idea too 👍
@ArnieTex, we love Love LOVE your content. We moved to Arizona in 2007 (from the 361), so we've been serving our friends our Texas BBQ and TexMex favorites. Your videos want me to step up my BBQ game. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for sharing your recipes and humor with us. I make my own salsas all the time now. I believe cooking should be creative, and personalized, and appreciate that you leave room to make dishes the way WE like. I'm going to try this recipe on a medium Trampo and a Big Joe ceramic cooker. Thanks for the inspiration!
Arnie, Although now living in the Pacific Northwest, (I am a Native South Texan from Corpus Christi), I really appreciate watching all of Your videos and have learned so much from You. From the “Flippity-Flip” on Hamburgers, to Carne Guisada, Brisket, Carne Asada, Tamales with Your Mom, Salsas and so much more, I look forward to each new tutorial video from You. I am such a better cook because of You. Take care, Salud!
Thanks ArnieTex! You are a terrific teacher and obviously a trained chef. This Al Pastor procedural took a ton of work. I appreciate it.
Dude, this is incredible. My food playlist is packed FULL. So many videos and recipes that I fear I may never get through them all. However, I created a new food list, I call my "short list". These are "bucket list" recipes that I can't "forget about". THIS video is the first one on that list. Rock on man. Would LOVE to cook and drink beers with you man.
I love exploring new foods, and it's so satisfying when something new to you is better then expected. Great videos sir, thank you
Bro, this is the best KZread channel I've come across in a while! Came for the salsa, subbed for the personality. Its like hanging out cooking with my tio.
It looks great!!! My mouth is watering to taste it. You’re a friggin gem, Arnie!.
Awesome recipe ... and super great editing! Very entertaining!
I’m from Pecos, Texas. I’ve heard your Mom mention your time there. I really enjoy your videos. I live in Apache Springs, Nm. 18 miles south of Las Vegas, NM. I get so homesick when I watch your videos. I do go home at least once a month since all my family is still in Pecos. You are awesome!!!!!!

Mexican food is my favorite food ever. There are countless Mexican cuisines that are unbelievably delicious
Just came from Mexico. Their tacos are amazing. Went to Atotonilco “Los Cuñados”, ate 20 tacos since they’re small tortilla. All Al Pastor

After watching your videos over the past few weeks, I finally hit that subscribe button. You said carnitas are your favorite, my weakness is lengua. We used to cook it in salt water in a stock pot for about 3 hours. Then slice it, put it in a tortilla with beans, pico de gallo, cilantro and salsa Verde. Cheers from Kansas City.
Love the vise grips, a good cook always knows how to improvise!
Hi Arnie, tried these for the first time using your adobo recipe-turned out great! Thank you!!
I've been looking for the perfect Al Pastor recipe and this is it! Thank you sir.
You are fun to watch! Great editing and I enjoy you putting your little twist on things. Much love from your neighbors in New Mexico ✌😛🌶
I watched the first minute and an half and it’s all I needed to know to subscribe and like. Wow!! Keep up the awesome work! Cooking is a real art and awesome skill to have. Thank you.
Thanks to you for all the great recipes
You are the man!!! Killer recipes. Just can't get enough of this channel..
When this heat wave calms down a little bit, I'll have to make this. I commend you for making this video in this weather lol
Love your channel! Merry Christmas!
Delicious!!! He always coming threw with that traditional Mexican bomb food!!!
Such a great recipe, and the most Mexican thing ever is using that Vice clamp to keep the meat from rotating while cooking. I've seen similar things done at family BBQs. Another great video Arnie.
YES!! the, for me, the king of all tacos. AL PASTOR.
Thank you Arnie it's delicious!
I cannot wait to try this! I live in the west and I have been experimenting with food now for almost 26 years. I love cooking. I just starting getting into really good authentic Mexican food about 7 years ago with all the peppers and chilies. Making sauces and tacos. Yummy I have fallen in love with it. I'll be back next week to let ya know how it came out. 🎉😂
Wow ,man them pastor tacos look delicious , my .mouth is watery and im hungry 😊. Thank you Arnie for being a great chef .my son loves to watch your you tube, he cooks fajitas all the time, now he is gonna try to master pastor tacos 😁 hmmm .and he will be ordering some spices !!! The most chill chef ever!!! Great food great job!!
I made this recipe yesterday along with the green salsa for the topping on the tacos! Hands down the most amazing thing I have ever cooked! I smoked the pork on my pellet grill at 270 degrees and basted with the juices every 30 minutes! You have to make this recipe!
I was a little hungry before I started watching this, now I'm starving! These look absolutely fantastic, thanks for sharing this recipe with us!
Mr Tex you have my utmost respect!! I really enjoy your work!!
This channel is awesome! Keeping the traditional mexicano recipes alive! Love this, reminds me of my younger years.
I've seen several recipes for El Pastor tacos. I think your recipe is the best ive seen. I'll give it a try. ThankQ!
You nailed it my brother! Fantastic video, my mouth is watering....love from your brother in Minnesota
Arnie just makes my day, every time I watch his videos. The man is the best!
You are awesome Arnie! One of the few KZread chefs that like a lot of heat! The marinade looked great, I will try it that next time! I’m a gringo, but I will stick to the traditional corn tortillas, onions and lots of heat! I do like my trompo on the smoker, but not as much char as you got! Maybe next time. Keep the great videos coming sir!!
My mouth is watering, that looks so good! I once made adobo from scratch and used it on lamb for Easter. I didn't have achiote though. I need to find some next time and use your recipe. I'd love to see you doing something with lamb or cabrito.

That looks delicious thank you for inspiring me to make this on the weekend
LOVE tacos al pastor, looks superb
Excellent Trompo Taco Tutorial!! Looks fantastic, Arnie! For your trompito, I was thinking if you just take a small square or 6 sided small piece of plywood, you could drill 2 holes in it for your skewers and stick them through. This way you have a rest that will stay on each side. You could wrap it in tin foil and make it pretty. Nicely done, sir!
Yum looks so delicious. I have to try it soon.
This was amazing 😊
That looks AMAZING!!! 🤙🏼
Tacos Al Pastor make me happy. They are so good! Fantastic video. Howdy from Houston.
