He’s just a little boy playing the piano so masterfully with a world class orchestra! WOW 🤩

The youngest and yet he won. Even the judges were smitten and so were the audience. This boy is really phenonemal. At age of 6 his fingers dancing on the piano keys beautifully with accuracy and his face calm and confident. And for one so young this piece was not easy and performing with a full orchestra ... Elisey clearly showed his ability to integrate so well. I liked the way he would glance at the orchestra to make sure he was with them and that he was in contriol. Playing this piece requires so much energy and passion and Elisey did very well like a professional. I've seen in another video where he performed this when he was only 7 yrs old and he performed it with so much passion and energy that he just stood up towards the end bcoz the piano seat kept moving backward with each movement of his body.

It is not really that hard for someone to play a long piece from memory, the hard part is playing it and playing it well (by that I don't mean making no mistake (which is only a part), I mean playing it will a decent style, not just tapping the keys but playing the piece with emotion, sometimes slow, sometimes fast, sometimes loud or silent, using the right pedal at the right time, waiting or not and it goes on..).

Vollkommen richtig. Das geht mir nicht anders. Ich besitze die Fähigkeit zu komponieren und zu singen, aber aufgrund vieler Neider werde ich fast immer beleidigt und gemobbt. Einige schätzen jedoch meine Lieder. Auch unser Chorleiter findet mich talentiert.

Okay so it might not have been perfect to the very last note, but I can tell Elisey was certainly having the most fun on that competition. And the fact he's already brave enough to embrace the eyes of an audience of that size with his melodies and not get intimidated by 'In the Hall of the Mountain King' at the age of 6 years old says so much more than only the notes he's been pressing. Sometimes emotion doesn't only spring forth from just our faces, our actions, our moods or the way we express ourselves through activities. Sometimes it's all of those combined. So I'd say this performance was a one of a kind, and i hope you'll have many more good times out there, walking the road of a piano with every step pressing the keys of what you love doing!
