    +Valor University Word.. He wanted to transition to that I heard. Music brought his life too much drama, people taking that shit TOO literal. "You say I'm a gangsta rapper? Is Al Pacino a gangster actor? IS Robert De Niro a gangster actor?" - 2Pac

    I agree. He said he wanted to get out of the rap game when he was in prison, but because of the beef he had with Bad Boy and other rappers, he felt as though he couldn't.

That's the same school Jada Pinkett Smith attend and that's how they became best friends ever since up until his death.

    +Pram De Rooy low budget ? lol the shit cost millions to make. U have any idea who vondis curtis hall is? thandie newton? thandie is a big ass actress..as well as tim roth. u know who bokeem is? he's made plenty of films and was in 2pac's i int mad at cha video. Lucy Lui is in there too. Not to mention how much the had to pay Suge to take control of the entire soundtrack....Budge film Mr. Rooy ...u have no idea...not to mention paying 2pac. Film might not have made a big buzz in profit wise but it defo wasnt a low budget film.

  • @pramderooy7037

    @pramderooy7037

    TheTruth Well if you compare the 5 million budget of gridlock'd to other movies that are released nowadays.Its pretty low budget,maybe for that time it wasnt.But yeah i do know who all those actors are.It didnt make alot of profit,but this movie is so underrated.Because the chemistry between tim roth and tupac was great.

  • @thetruth2929

    @thetruth2929

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Pram De Rooy Exactly the budget was decent (if it was 5mil) back in the day. Obvs it wasnt no steven spielberg movie or some hot shot missin impossible or fast n furious or whatever budget but dumb films like blair witch project shot with one shit camera did 100 whatever million so... who gives a shit. Point is the film and cast were great. All the 90s and early 2000 films were great. Shit happens.

  • @pramderooy7037

    @pramderooy7037

    8 жыл бұрын

    TheTruth Agree but nowadays it would be considered a independent movie,because it wasnt backed by a major studio.And if the chemistry between roth and shakur was terrible ,the table scene with bokeem,pac,tim,and lucy wouldnt have worked that great.And to me that was one of the most memorable scenes of the movie.In a interview russel simmons said he also contributed finances to make this movie happen.
