Still absolutely heartbroken for Ben Thorn in that 4th GLTC race. He did so well in just his first season aswell. Atleast we know he's got what it takes now. Fingers crossed for 2024 season

​@@wesdumalski5630 other series don't allow those cars in their top time attack class though and for reason. fastest unlimited cars were built over years and with time attack rules in mind, gridlife rules are a joke

Then don’t compete or watch the series??? Your opinion of a rule set means nothing. Do you watch other time attack series with different rule sets? Did you see the other cars that were in the same class as the wolf chassis car? It all comes down to building a car to the edge of the typeset regardless of which group or rule set that is. If you can’t build a car that competes with the wolf chassis then build for a different class or series. Dumbing things down makes zero sense… Sasha did just fine in his Z as did Dewey in his Subaru n very competitive Classes. Not sure how one unlimited class rule set makes the series a joke.

​@@wesdumalski5630 my opinion is in line with the history of time attack, I do watch other series and I can tell you the wolf pikes peak car and other non-time attack cars if allowed to run at all, are in their own class that is recognized as being something else. I'm sayin there's cars in gridlife's 'unlimited' that should be competing in like their 'super unlimited class'. If someone was to show up with a complete space-frame tube chassis silhouette car or factory race car Lamborghini, up the power and win over ppl like Sasha who actually built something himself with the restrictions of the 350z chassis, that would be dumb. I'm all for building to the edge of the rules, I said gridlife rules were a joke cause they keep changing them, and don't fall in parity with the rest of time attack series. I'll watch and root for the cool fast guys who keep the tuner spirit alive!

@@typerkid3260 There are allowances for some racecars in Unlimited due to the chassis being largely similar to their road-going (and VIN carrying) variants. This allowance would not be given if the car would be an outlier in its class, or if the chassis was considerably different from the road car. Full tube frame, open wheel, or prototype race cars do not have this similarity and thus are required to be in SuperUnlimited.

2:04:40 Taking care of those tires was easy. When you have 3-4 bundles messed up and shifted down the track by 5 feet you have to take a bit more time, but is still much faster than having the forklift come out

Poor thing burned to the ground. Driver was fine. Parts were melting off the car in entrance to 10.

I was afraid Damon Fryer wouldn't actually drive the Super Trofeo I'm glad to see him actually putting in some decent lap times.
