To help grian out a lil. - A mimic will always have orbs even if there is no evidence as this is an ability and doesn’t count as evidence in that case - The myling’s ability only applies to footsteps and your heartbeat when the ghost is hunting, making them harder to hear. This does not apply to any vocalizations/crying the ghost may make during a hunt. -The reason you were given sanity medication is that the tier 3 sanity medication gives you infinite stamina for a few seconds allowing you to get away from ghost easier. (This specific weekly challenge didn’t allow your sanity to be above 0 because the intended way of finding the ghost is through hunt abilities.) - The reason the ghost sprinted past you and targeted impulse instead during the mimic round is that the ghost it decided to mimic was a banshee. A banshee has a favorite player that it will target if they enter the house. It ignores all other players during this time and picks a new favorite player if its favorite player leaves the game or is killed. Edit: While the spirit can be stopped with incense, every other ghost is stopped with incense as long as it’s tier 3 incense. To figure out a spirit more easily, it can’t hunt for three minutes after being smudged. (Unless the challenge turns this off)

Additionally to add to the list! - Thaye's will ONLY age if you're in the ghost room with them, they're incredibly more active at the beginning and can hunt around 75% sanity. As an extra lil tidbit, they also cannot speed up with line-of-sight of the player (the Hantu also cannot speedup with line-of-sight) - The Spirit is the one that is most affected by smudge sticks; smudging will stop it from hunting for 180 seconds (3 minutes) instead of the normal 90 seconds (60 s for demon). Spirits will also get more aggressive when you're in their favourite room - Another fun thing about demons is that their hunt cooldown is 20 seconds instead of the usual 25 seconds - Revs are SUPER slow when they DO NOT have line of sight of you, you can tell by the sound of its footsteps when you're hiding- there's a significant difference (the opposite to the Deogen) Hope this helps either you or someone else in these comments :D (I adore this game and it's so much fun seeing Grian and pals play too!) I love the continued polty piles 😂

I LOVE how efficient the gang has become with this, it’s actually kinda beautiful. Watching them go to a normal run after the challenged mode shows just how smooth they’ve gotten with it.

“Ghosts. Understand?” reading you loud and clear grian, next time we’re only going to have two letters for the intro.

Grian didn’t upload a vid himself, but the others did a stream and uploaded it. (Though it was one of those times where the audience was having fun watching, but they didn’t have a fun time playing it :(, so they ended up playing phasmo at the one and a half hour mark.)

Just checking the wiki here (because I am a nerd) Smudge sticks don't affect most ghosts differently during hunts. However there are 3 ghosts that have different behaviors when they are. By default: When a ghost is smudged, they have a 90 second timer after the hunt for when they can hunt again. Spirit: Has a 3 minute timer between hunts if smudged Demon: has a 60 second timer if smudged Moroi: Is affected differently during a hunt. If smudged, they'll be blinded for around 7 seconds instead of the regular time of 5 seconds. (Tier 1 smudges)

Ghosts understand? Yes the most understandable warning ever

i absolutely love grian and the gang playing Phasmo so much lately

honestly this version of the game dfinitely feels more fun. The limiting of knowledge definitely forces more effort into investigations and actually observing the ghost which is really cool

I've been wondering what happened with that mimic hunt where both Grian and Impulse smudged since I saw it on Impulse's stream. Looks to me like the ghost ran past Grain because his smudge was still burning, so he was basically invisible.

I don’t play phasmo myself so I don’t know the accuracy of this, but according to another comment I saw the ghost was mimicking a banshee (who have favorite players).

@@aaaaaaaasdef there was some speculation about that in chat at the time, as well, but a banshee is a normal speed ghost, iirc, and shouldn't have gotten that fast without an extended period with direct line of sight
