I loved their relationship. Derek was such a great big brother. He loved his family. I love how he wanted Meredith to be like that too. How he wanted her to have a family. He gave her that, if you think about it. When he left, he gave her 3 babies, a sister in law, a little sister, a father figure in Richard. He gave her a family.

I sometimes feel like it is same as while leaving job they ask you in future will you join the company again . If yes/maybe the character in the series is gone somewhere else and if no the character is dead.

LOOOOOVE “Where The Heart Is”!!! I feel like there’s only like 12 of us - total - who have ever seen it (and maybe, like, an additional 3 people, who have even HEARD of it’s existence but have never actually seen it… somehow…😭) It’s definitely so underrated! Anyway, loved coming across your reference to it! Forney was / is a LEGIT friggin’ •• ✨SUPERHERO✨ •• throughout the ENTIRE movie, to seemingly, like, EVERYBODY! •• ✨🙌🏼✨👏🏼••👏🏼✨🙌🏼✨ ••
