Just imagine you're a regular guardsman and your regiment faces against a horde of demons. you managed to survive and perhaps even managed to kill one. What a Monumental task for an unaltered human and for all your hard work the Imperium just executes you.

It’s really inconsistent though. Especially after the months of shame it seems to happen less and less. Sometimes entire armies or planets are purged because they saw a grey knight, other times they fight side by side, eliminate the threat and move on. Such as Cadia, Cadian veterans still wander the galaxy after having seen daemons, CSM and some Grey knights and weren’t purged. The same for the resurrection of Roboute, none of the celstine crusade or terran crusade contingents were mind wiped or purged. So like many things with 40k it just depends on who is writing it leading to one in a billion inconsistencies with the lore.

The Grey Knights Omnibus was great, easily one of the most brutally graphic books I've ever read, but also with a solid narrative and likeable characters. I hope to see more of Justicar Alaric one day

I just got off of a stressful day of work today, got home and was ready to sleep like a cranky old lady but then saw a new WH40k lore video and had to stay up just to listen to it before bed, your videos made my awful day so much better I always look forward to a brand new WH lore video from this channel since I’ve watched literally every single previous video already! My absolute favorite Chapter of space marines! Great video!

A strange thing about the Heresy, in particular the Solar War, is how the traitors just kind of forgot about Titan. Not the daemons or fallen Primarchs, who you said couldn't see the pure boys because they were so pure, but people like Perturabo and the thousands of traitors not worshipping chaos. Like did they all just forget about? I think the first question from most ship captains exiting the Mandovel point would be like "shouldn't their be a big moon orbiting Saturn? Was that us? Perturabo was that you?".

There weren't any chapters when Malcador was alive. Just the legions. I have always thought that this whole idea is an in-universe example of incorrect records.

Wasn't Mangus the Red suppose to their primarch because they were going to eliminate the 1000 sons because of a curse or something ive been a huge fan of 40k but just got into the lore just recently

I know a lot of Grey Knights fans dislike the ‘baby carrier’ but I don’t think it’s that bad. I do wish the GW would give it a new design though because while it’s not *that* bad it’s definitely not *that* great either.

Hyperion (Zael Effernetti) will always be my favorite Grey Knight. The Eisenhorn/Ravenor/Bequin series was my entry into 40k and I was STOKED when I read "The Emporer's Gift"! ADB and Dan Abnett are the best 40k writers.

They actually do already. They use a weapon called a Psilencer that focuses their psychic energy into a high-power beam via crystals, and this technology was gained from trading with and unknown Xenos faction

Im gonna make a space marine chapter called the edge lords. And they are going to fall into a chaos portal that teleports one of them to our reality and people will laugh at him everytime he says he needs to go home to his edge lord fortress and it ends with him marrying a 35 year old single mom and takes a job as a fitness instructor.

You have to understand, when a demonic incursion happens with one’s the grey knights are asked for: all unprotected souls are corrupted 9/10. Including soldiers. So they leave and corrupt others and spread to all corners and creating even worse herasy. No, when the grey knights are involved it’s because the world is toast and imperium has decided they must end a conflict and without fail. Sisters of Battle and Astartes fight chaos also a lot of the time and they are enough to end most conflicts with acceptable corruption risk for the population to return or continue life. Not so with Knights they are told and fought to kill all because thats their MO. It’s no fault of their own it’s just what has to be done for the greater humanity. Like Kriptman and the tyranids. However, in the months of shame, the space wolves with grey knights would have negated a lot of warp taint on survivors which it did. Normally grey knights do not work with or assist other chapters but yea they also have to keep humanity in the dark for now on chaos cuz they aren’t ready for it in the lore. Also the custodes consider the grey knights the closest thing to them in spirit so if they say I gotta go I guess it’s for the best… ❤
