I believe you got it wrong dude. They never blame the girl, that’s the exact transcript of what you’re referring (2:37): « Her dad and I were best friends, we took family trips together and all of that has been ruined since all of this has happened ». So yeah, there are cases when women get treated unfairly on this show but that’s not one of them fortunately.

This family’s treatment of this poor young woman is atrocious. You need a better best friend, she threw you under the bus. I hope they gave her an apology, she never deserved this treatment. Those ears were a dead give away.

Honestly I don't get it. Just cause they grow up close doesn't mean they are "brother and sister" they are in no way related so if they had feelings for each other, there isn't anything wrong with it. I understand emotions were high and I just hope she apologized to the young mother too at some point. I feel bad for her, standing alone from the crowd and 3 important persons in her life are against her 💔. But gladly the result of DNA makes her happy and for the sake of her son finally. 💞

Strong strong woman and mother I commend her for standing there and taking everything that was thrown her way. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽She knew all along and as soon as the show started the ears and nose said it all. I was a little emotional when she cried and they didn’t even apologize in that moment. This show needs to come back with a follow up series.

@DogeatDog She tried... He refused to get a DNA test unless the other guy got a DNA test because 'it's not 100%'... Guy doesn't know how DNA testing works. She had no choice but to take him to court for child support because he refused contact and denied the child... He deliberately didn't show up to court, thinking that would solve his problem, and the court listed him as the default father... Rightly so, as the results show. He put himself in jail

The young man and his family was clearly in denial, when they put the side by side pictures up, Stevie Wonder could see that was his kid..

That mother said “I didn’t need to supervise them they grew up together…” she is as dumb as they come!! My son married the girl he grew up with, first time they were boyfriend/girlfriend holding hands was the naughtiest thing they knew to do….. I’m happy to say she is the best DIL but again how this mom acts like she didn’t know is beyond me. We all knew my son was crushing on the girl he grew up with and she was crushing on him. Of course we pay attention to our children around here….. I feel bad for this poor girl, the lack of respect from the people that claim to have “loved her as their own” is disgusting!!

I am relieved to see his tears, as well as his mother. This could turn out well, thankfully, hopefully.

It's funny how the child looks exactly like the father and everyone say no they don't see the resemblance 😂

I just want to see the mother's dad. The little boy looked so much like Roy with his ears and eyes but they kept saying the kid looks more like the mother's dad. I may be overthinking things. Roy's mom probably became close to them after her kids' father left.

If they were old enough to make a baby they were old enough to be watched, but at the same time they are adults, so what if they got together, there was no blood tie. Plus they should worry more what the guy is up to, he has two kids the same age, he has a cheek to say she was sleeping around!!!

My Father and his family knew I was their child but he denied his paternity and my mom was too poor to afford private test etc and in the 70s DNA was not easy. I grew up as a Xerox copy of my father. Hats off how you instantly accept that child

There’s no way a grandmother could look at their son’s child and NOT see their son. She was just caught up in her own feelings that she was willing to deny everything that pointed to him being the father. Anyone with eyes could see that baby was his, ESPECIALLY looking at those ears

Shouldn’t take 3 years and a court room to get a dna test.

He said he refused a dna unless the other guy took one also. He also made the choice not to attend court regarding child support therefore not arguing against the claims. He knew he was the father, just refused to take responsibility.

He just didn't want to take responsibility bc that child looks EXACTLY like him. And I'm not understanding why the family went in on this girl so hard like she got herself pregnant.

Really do hope for this girl that she managed to get things sorted now and that this boy stepped up to be the dad of this child. Apologies should also be in order obviously.

Exactly! I remember growing up near my neighbors, we played everyday! It’s not unnatural to develop crushes on them, especially when they know them so well!

i dont understand why that one thing ruined their families bonds. and why are they so mad at the girl when he missed the court date to get the dna test done ? this could have been avoided 3 years ago

To me the ears gave it away. I knew from the get go that the baby was his.

This was a really good episode.. My tears rolled down after the DNA results.. ☺😍

The mother was so dignified. I felt the other family were cold, mean, unkind….looking for ways to dismiss and demean the mother……4 years….that child has been around for 5 years plus the pregnancy…….yet the “father “ and his mother denied it…….all the more heartbreaking as they grew up together as friends….
