Greta Van Fleet on drummer's hand injury; playing with Elton John

Музыка

Jake Kiszka (guitar) and Sam Kiszka (bass guitar) of Greta Van Fleet sat down with The Point's Donny Fandango before their SOLD OUT St. Louis show at The Pageant on Wednesday, August 1st, 2018. Jerny Gutree agreed!!! Here is what I Like- 1. Like some of their tunes 2.Good to see them bringing back some of the real music. What I Hate- 1. Everyone in GVF pretending they grew up only on bands from the 40's and 50's I Call Bull Shit! 2. So obviously Zeppelin Influenced!!! You have to be a complete Moron to think otherwise. 3. They go out of their way to never mention Zeppelin and sidestep some Zep comparisons. 4. They should just Admit Zep was a huge influence and be done with it. Embrace it!! Zep is only the greatest Rock band ever! Just the mention that you sound similar is a compliment. But they rather go on pretending they came up with that sound and look! Hahah

A smile on my face but a Demon inside you call it hate, because that was started years ago by some Lame idiot. I call it another person with a different opinion. "Hater" is just a way for an insecure person to divert another persons opinion. The term "Hater" was the initial stupidity that jump started all of today's liberal Bull $hit. Now they just say homophobe Raycist etc etc anything to shout down another persons opinion!

A smile on my face but a Demon inside Not Upset, I'm just not a GVF apologist like you. You seem more upset. Sorry but in life you can't just ignore the obvious! If you can't read or have an understanding for reading comprehension. You will see I said I like some of their stuff. But sorry, it's all been done before and way , way , better my I add! By a super group they ( GVF) obviously snub their noses at. How ironic since their fame & sound is based on that group , they pretend, never influenced them. Led Zep 😂😂 if you can't see that , no offense but pretty pathetic

A smile on my face but a Demon inside actually It has effected your day! Your still responding. P.s let me spell it out for you since you can't seem to grasp what I have said- I like some of their stuff - it's not a bad thing for Rock music- what I don't like ( This part is my opinion and I'm sure the opinion of many more observant people) I don't like people living off the coat tails of the trailblazers and pretending they never existed! If you ever seen the Robert Plant interview( which has also done plenty for GVF) you will see he says " The singer sounds an aweful lot like someone I know. Plant then says the singer claims to taken his influence from The singer of Aerosmith. Plant doesn't want to sound petty that's why he says it sarcastically - making his point. Anyway person with zero reading comprehension skills - Carry on!

Now, this is why you get a tech who knows all the songs; That way you do not have to miss any shows. Metallica in the 80s broke multiple bones skateboarding. It got to the point where the label and tour manager said that broken bones or not they had to play. However, for a few shows, the tech would play and James would only sing. Same again in 1992.

Just think, the original rockers still did tours when a member fell ill or couldnt perform, they hired a fill in to continue touring and not disappoint their fans. As good GVF is they have disappointed alot of people by cancelling a tour rather than pushing through with a replacement until their bandmember healed. Todays generation just doesnt have the drive or sense of satisfying fans like the originals did.

Steve Wheeland What the fuck are you talking about how are they supposed to replace the drummer that quick plus I really think the singer needed to give his voice a brake you could hear it starting to get worse so if two members of a 4 person band are out who do you propose they continue going fans want to hear them not replacements especially the singer you're argument is ignorant gnr called off tours all bands have had to do it
