Here is a collection of original "inert" live ordnance covering the hand grenades from the Civil War thru World War 2. Displayed are the most of the common types from the major countries involved. These are both hand and rifle type grenades. As with all collections, it is not complete and it is a "Work in Progress." World War 1 ordnance is empathized here more as it was the conflict that saw the most in hand grenade development.

If I saw an Italian WW2 'Red Devil' on that table, I would back away until I was absolutely certain it was deactivated. Those things have a history.
I liked the No Talking and Described Vid!
Much too loud! Narration and commentary would be better than music.
Old Japanese granade looks real japanese.
Nice collection brings back memories of collecting before idiotic eBay stopped all this type of stuff being sold! 😬

@Henry Medina haha you joking? On the UK eBay you can't buy them - again you could buy airsoft before but they even stopped that due to the law?

museum Overloon had maybe the bigest collection of the world
F1 diagram wrong for the physical. The one he holds uses a kovechnikov fuse

I have a british Mills hand grenade but i lost the trigger and the split and also the suspension thing.. it says 43 (1943) in the bottom and TG&C It also have ingraved TG C on the front. Does anyone know that manufacturer?

I also have 2 big cartridges and one of them has a spine you can screw off in the top.. i would love to know what they have been used for
