Here is a collection of original "inert" live ordnance covering the hand grenades from the Civil War thru World War 2. Displayed are the most of the common types from the major countries involved. These are both hand and rifle type grenades. As with all collections, it is not complete and it is a "Work in Progress." World War 1 ordnance is empathized here more as it was the conflict that saw the most in hand grenade development.

    If I saw an Italian WW2 'Red Devil' on that table, I would back away until I was absolutely certain it was deactivated. Those things have a history.

    I have a british Mills hand grenade but i lost the trigger and the split and also the suspension thing.. it says 43 (1943) in the bottom and TG&C It also have ingraved TG C on the front. Does anyone know that manufacturer?
