this has been my favourite song for about 9 years. i always come back to it during different phases in my life and somehow it always fit no matter how different the situation i was in. im never going to have a different favourite song. this will forever be ingrained in my heart.

Such a wonderful song. I don't even remember where I found it, but it's been one of my favorites for years. The feeling it gives yo is really unique, I haven't found anything quite like it.

This song reminds me of my first relationship, awakening in me unusually warm feelings and at the same time nostalgia and longing for those wonderful school years, that are long gone.

It’s always an interesting experience to find the source material of the samples used in many of my favorite lofi mixes.

thotasaurus I’m not so sure myself, either-but this is my interpretation: Someone lost something very significant to them (perhaps a lover or friend), they look back on how they spent their time together; or how they could’ve. Finding things to self-indulge in to hide the pain behind a facade, or distracting them from it, at least. “And mix a fear up with a friend,”-having someone to discuss issues with. They want to be remembered, because they’re constantly reminiscing about the significant entity. -this song means a lot to me. I relate to it so much, it actually really, really hurts. I’m so happy I discovered the song, ‘cause whenever I feel low or sentimental, this song makes me feel calm and happy (but at the same time, also sad).
