A car wreck stole her from me. Her body healed but she had severe head injuries and never came back. That was thirty years ago. She was my soul mate (twin flame). The last time I saw her three years ago she found a way back for a moment. There always was a twinkle in her eye when we were together. That "twinkle' came back for just a moment. She said to me, "If I go first I will wait for you. If you go first will you wait for me?" I said I would be waiting. And then she was gone. She died a little over a year ago. I sing this song to her every night.

The first time I saw her I knew in my heart that we were meant to be together. The light of that knowing as led me through the darkness that I have travel through in this life time. One night we were laying in bed when she said to me, "I am going to give you the most precious things I have". I said, "What's that?" She said, "My sons for you to raise". I was scared stiff, "Can we talk about this? I know nothing about being a parent." Instead of talking she made love to me. In the morning I woke to the realization that I was now the father of two boys but most of all I had just experience what unconditional love was. Considering I am not the easiest person in the world to love. I had built a fortified wall around my heart and that I was stubborn, hard headed and most of the time the south end of a horse but that didn't stop her. She found a way. She was my teacher. As I write this I can still feel in my heart the bond that binds us together even though she has left this world. I spent something like eighteen hours in a coma without any detectable brain wave activity nor was my heart working when the ventilator was turned off. I was dead. Against my free will and choice I got sent back. I am as I was before. I suffer no ill affects from being dead. I know there is life after this body dies and I will follow that bond we share to her into the next world where ever that might led.

BTW I just want to add that they turned out to be great men in spite of my short comings. One was born to be a Dad. He has four kids and is a Dad to those four kids. He also is a top executive with a Fortune 500 company and has 250 people under him. Not bad with just a high school degree. He is and still is all heart. I got him when he was four. His mother and I fretted over how he might accept me. He took care of that. The first night he came over to the sofa climb up put his head in my lap and went to sleep. The other boy I didn't get until he was seven. First time I met him I was convinced he could change the world. He is a flipp'n genius. He has five kids. He became a doctor and through his research he made a difference. Growing up the only two things they need to know is that they were loved. The second was that they were responsibility for their own lives. By now I bet your wondering why I don't call them "my wife, my sons". To me saying it that way denotes ownership. I don't own them. They are their own persons and I respect that. I know it sounds like I am an ego manic, a know it all, putting myself up on a pedestal that is not my intent. My intent is to share and if something strikes a note inside of you when you read it that you try it and turn it into your own. We had many failures and challenges that life threw at us but we manage to get threw what ever life threw our way with love, respect, tolerance, acceptance and integrity until the car wreck ended it.

Very Sad, my wife lost her 13 year old daughter due to a speeding car, it is something you never get over. Take care.

This was my late mother's favorite song. She called it "the Ghost song," and sometimes she'd call me at work when it was playing on the radio and put the phone next to the speaker so I could hear it. I always associate this with Mom. Love you Mom - you'll always be with me.

This melody has been dedicated to his love one from those spirits, missing Americans army who has been away from home during a war time. They wanted to come home. "Are you still mine, a spirit asked ?" I weep when I listen to the unchained melody.

What a beautiful memory! How lovely that your mother always wanted to share her favourite song with you. I know what it is to lose a dear father and I deeply dread the loss of my mother. I think your mother would be happy to know that you remembered her so lovingly.

I was listening to Gregorian chants way back in the early 80's - I found it the most relaxing music to listen to (in a hot tub with many candles surrounding), I still do to this day, no matter the type of music they sing.

This was my wedding song with my 2nd husband.. we were soulmates.. we called each other my love.. we never had an argument.. when we 1st met he told me he had leukemia, he didn't know how much time he had.. After 2 years we were going to have a wonderful wedding.. He became very sick and so with me in a pair of jeans , him on a hospital bed with oxygen we said our vows.. He died 3 weeks later.. I miss him so much
