Fun fact. The original song was by Gregorian with lead vocals by Susana Espelleta and Birgit Freud (The Sisters of Oz) in 1991 from the album Sadisfaction. Then Gregorian was conceived as a more pop-oriented group in the vein of Enigma. However, this was the only album by the trio in this pop style. Sarah Brightman arguably made the song more famous globally when she included it in her album in 1993. I find the Gregorian version very pure and enlightening. The Sarah version is very rich and emotional (just my view). Both are wonderful. Never tired of this song.
