I created a 13x13 cylinder shaped rubiks cube last year. And i submitted it to guinness and basically they told me that it was too specific of a record to hold. Jake paul has a record for the most dabs in a minute so dont give me that crap. Guinness only selects records that they care about.
@GregMakesThings
6 жыл бұрын
The issue is that the rubik's cube is a very specific domain, and so are shapemods. If they were to accept the biggest octahedron rubiks, biggest tetrahedron rubiks etc. it would just be too much in that specific domain. I can get why they don't want to. I wouldn't ask them to accept my 2x2x50 because it's just too specific of a record for example. But in the community you are still known to have that record, you don't need validation from GWR :)

Greg, you really deserve this. It is fascinating to see you FINALLY getting the attention you deserve. I've been following your puzzle creations for several years now and they are still surprising me over and over again. I'd say you've become one of the key-members of the twisty puzzle community and inspired a lot of other people (me included) to start puzzle design. Thank you for that. And for all of those who just happen to see this without having seen puzzle-videos before: Certainly check out more of Greg's videos. This is one of the most addicting and fascinating hobbies I can think of and I'd love to see more people interested in twisty puzzles. Together, let's make puzzles a way of life... ND Puzzles
