I always wish that I could replace the tv dummies with Papa and Tim Ryan. I know they’re niner homers but even still they’re just so much better at every aspect of calling a game

It's a tragedy that the radio and TV broadcasts could never be sync'd. Radio is always ahead or I'd be listening to Papa & Ryan while watching the TV coverage.

I actually don’t mind Collinsworth. He’s kinda funny and has these weird side stories out of left field randomly that keeps it interesting. The fo Fox side is a bit more dry, but for NBC I kinda like Collinsworth.

Can we talk about that Jennings play where he over powered three dude for the first down!! Crazy probably the best play of the game

It is crucial for first downs with the 49ers plan. They are able to unleash all of their vairious scemes .And march down the field for a TD.

Papa called the Aiyuk touchdown " Wide Open Aiyuk " 😂 Aiyuk was far from wide open. He was surrounded by 4 defenders. That was an amazing pass by Purdy. Purdy dropped it into a bucket. Papap is losing his eyesight. 😂

My thoughts exactly. Papa has had some great calls, but if Im listening on the radio and the broadcaster says the guy was "WIIIIIIDE OPEN!" I assume there isnt anyone within 10-15 yards of the guy, basically a huge bust in coverage. As you said, that's not at all what happened on that play. Ayiuk was in a window that was open for a moment in time between 4 defenders, and Brock made the throw of the night to him on the money, just surgical all the way

These guys bring that energy!!

@@gerald605 We are blessed with some of the very best announcers in Bay Area games. Basketball and Baseball. These national broadcaster don't hold a candle to Gregg Pappa or Kruk and Kuip. And before that was Russ Hodges and Lon Simmons. All legendary in their own right.

Greg Papa is a legend in Bay Area sports, along with Bill King and Lon Simmons. I remember when he used to call Warriors games back in the 80s.

Ward had him a game! He defended against 2-3 possible touch downs!

Can not say enough about the defense. The pick 6 was their only touchdown. The defense held a good team down to 2 field goals. Just like last week. They expressed concern that the opponent moved up and down the field. So what? The bottom line is they did not score points. Seems like the offense is dominating right off the top and seems unstoppable, then a couple of mistakes and the other team makes it a game, but the defense saves the day and gives us the win. But Purdy is amazing and if Garropalo was at helm I would not have much confidence as I have in the last pick in the draft, Mr. Irrelevant, no more. Brock Purdy is our man.

Brock Purdy clearly is leading the MVP Race with the Best TD / INT Ratio QBR YPA YPC Completion Percentage Most 20 Yards or more Completions He completed 20 / 21 passes in a Game He had a Perfect QBR Game Vs the Buccs . The 49ers are playing like a Well Oiled Machine . But Brock is getting Black Balled out of the MVP Race becuse of his 7th Round Draft Placement . Kurt Warner wasn't even drafted , and still won the 1999 MVP . Cool to see Aiyuk's Helicopter Spin TD put a smile to Mike Shanahan's face .

I basically do this for the games where I put in the radio and mute the tv but it’s never syncs up so that’s for doing this!

Embarrassing... AGAIN! How many whoopings is it going to take before the Hawks get rid of this way over the hill head coach who is killing the franchise, on the field and in the front office. The team is woeful. This game looked like a legit NFL team playing a WFL squad, not unlike the games previously played by the Seahawks. They're non-competitive, uninspired, predictable, and unwatchable... shadows of their former selves. Carroll has got to go away... completely. The team needs a rebuild...all positions on the table but first and foremost a top tier QB.

I can't stand Greg Papa. He should have listened to tapes from Lon Simmons.

I like both guys but their post-TD antics need to be corralled or at least tempered. I don't mind so much the "San Fran Ciscoooo" but he seems to be stretching it more and more. Plus, I can't get over that he used to be the Raiders play by play guy.
