When I first saw this episode, I really thought that was Rik Mayall. When Rik appeared as Greg Davies' dad in Man Down, I thought that was perfect casting.

I would PAY to see it. But if I made a list of British comedians who won't do that, he would top it. He's either all "on" or all "off" in his professional career. Taskmaster asks you to walk a line between being yourself and "putting on a show". Also, he's just too big, of course. 😢 What about David Mitchell? Or Webb?

Brilliant as Partridge is, it has suffered from being quoted to death… I love that the Saxondale character has stayed under the radar a lot more
