Just a note.....when teaching years ago, the kids would bring in old Christmas cards, from which we would make little 3D churches. We would make the personal greetings a part of the designs.....an added bit of love expressed through the written word.

I would love to know how to make a church out of them.
Great ideas. I will do my cutting on my next RV journey! Won't take up much space and will fill my evenings.
That wreath is so beautiful--and so simple to do, thanks to your excellent directions!
I love real this! I'm tired of dollar store projects.
Love this wreath idea
That wreath is gorgeous! I don’t know how you’d store something like that but is sure is beautiful! I really like the tag idea too! I’ve saved my cards from this Christmas a few weeks ago to do this for next year! Thank you for all of your hard work making and sharing this video!

You could store the paper wreath in tissue paper in a plastic wreath container ✔️👍🙂
Beautiful especially the wreath
Love the wreath, ingenious❤
I have never seen a wreath like that before! It’s awesome! With the tiered trays being all the rave I could see some of those fun little pictures cut out and stuck here and there in a tiered tray!
How lovely. I've always made tags and card toppers but the Holly Wreath is a Brilliant idea. 🤗 Thank you so much for sharing.

Fauquier ways are amazing
Thank you love the projects
Jessica what a great idea. I also repurposed last year cards and made new greeting cards for Christmas with the note "Save the tree" project. So far nobody complained I did not purchased new cards😄. Love your gift tag ideas if you have lot of people to do gits for me only about 4 so it would take years to repurpose but the reef would work well. I might try it next Christmas. Thank you so much to taking the time to give us some great ideas. Hope 2020 going to be Happy and Healthy for you and your Family. 🎉🎉🎉 Oh I forgot to mention I did cut out some card and put them on the tree instead of bought decoration.

Erika S thank you! And I bet they do work great for ornaments for a tree like you mentioned! 😁
💡👍🌈
Terrific. Love the wreath. I'm a patient person, but I don't know about this wreath. The end product is wonderful. It's getting there that's the problem. Thanks and Happy New Year, Jessica.
I love this idea. I have also wanted to do something with my Christmas cards it really does seem sad to just toss them out. I have been saving for a few years to make them into dinner place mates for Christmas I have some from Family that have passed on. I wanted to use the part they signed to make the center piece of my placemat. Planning on giving them as gifts.

Great idea, love the wreath. Happy New Year!
You are so awesome! I love the wreath! I have framed some of my Christmas cards cause they were so beautiful!
Sooo clever awesome idea diy absolutely love it ❤️
I’m glad you didn’t use a cut out stamper. It’s probably made of plastic anyway which would really negate the awesome greenness of this project . And I agree that it’s so refreshing not to see a dollar store plastic project hat at some point will be in a landfill.
I ❤️ your channel! Your tutorials are so calming, relaxing, peaceful and fun! I love how you repurpose items and I am definitely going to be using these ideas in my decor for next year. Thank you so much!
Love the gift tag idea, thank you for sharing! I've literally got years worth of cards in work my decorations!
How could you use card with saying on them and not so much pictures. I dumpster dive and sometimes I find alot of cards
I frame some cards and then use them around the house or place on the tree.

Becky Scheller I bought some vintage ones off eBay a few years ago that I want to do that exact same thing to! 😊
It’s a great idea and very pretty but, how many of those cut outs did you need? I would like to make it however, I’m not that patient so I’ll take your suggestion and use a a stamp cutter.

It depends on how big your wreath form is. Id say if you use a smaller one and then cut the leafs bigger, it may not take as long. :)
Would 2inch holly leaves work for the wreath?
@TheRetroFarmhouse

I’m sure you can make the leaves as big or small as you want. The bigger they are the more area they cover so it would probably cut down on the amount of cutting of leaves you would need to do. 😊
Happy New Year Jesscia I hope your enjoying the new year so far I love the idea of reusing the Christmas cards for gift tages and the Erebus very nice but I don’t think I would be comfortable cutting up such cute cards but u never know any way I only receive 3 Christmas cards this year but I guess that’s because I do have the money to send any out this year which really sucks I have been mailing Christmas cards out for probably the last 42 years since I was about 18 years old and I guess that means most people only send me a card cause they receive one from me oh well any way I enjoy seeing all your animals and your grounds I would like to see how it looks this time of year do you get any snow ❄️ where you live
@TheRetroFarmhouse

We don't get any snow. Which I do miss at times. Ironically it did snow about 6 inches here 3 years ago, but people said that was the first time they saw snow in 20 years. Some parts of our grass is still green and others brown. Today its about 50 degrees out, but the other day it was around 70. :)

Ps I love the way you do your eyeliner I don’t want to sound weird or a girl but I think you do a beautiful job with your eye make up and perhaps you might do a tutorial on how you do your eyeliner I know it sounds weird I’m 60 years old I’ve never learned how to do eyeliner I wish you next-door to me and could show me because I would love to be able to do my eyes the way you do also I need to learn how to do false eyelashes never have had them but as I’m am aging I really do need false eyelashes I have very few So any help would greatly be appreciated
Hello. Love your wreath. What is the size of the holly leaf you used? Thank you
@TheRetroFarmhouse

Marie Phelps it’s about an inch and a half long by 1/2 inch wide. But again you can draw it any size. 😊. Hope that helps!
Great idea
