I made something similar several years ago with my elementary students. We had 12 pages, one for each month. They decorated the background of each page with hand drawn pictures that represented holidays within that month. Then, we added lines to the front of each pocket so significant dates in that month could be written(birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) We used a binding machine to connect all the pages after adding a front and back cover they designed with the title A Year of Happenings. We wrapped them and gave them to the important women in our lives for a Mother's Day gift so the moms could add greeting cards to each pocket and wouldn't forget an important occasion. The kids loved making them and there was a ton of curriculum used in a practical way. 😃

I like decorative corners for mini albums. It protects corners and looks very professional.

Great project !!! You could label the pages for each month and put in card for that months BD's etc.... then you could have your cards made for all year !!!!! You can use it year after year !!!!

I'm glad you used the disks 📀 because it's easy to move the pages around. You could put a non-tabbed page in between the tabbed pages to double the pockets for each category. 💖🌞🌵😷

Love the papers, what a cute book and idea. The back pages could be used to keep the names and addresses of the people you send Birthday, Anniversary cards to. If you put names and dates on one sheet you could laminate it, then write the addresses on separate sheets but no laminating because of address changes. You would have everything you need to send the cards, even use a regular envelope to put your stamps in. Thank you Maymay, I'm going to make one for me and maybe a few for gifts. 💖🙋‍♀️

Love this. A little pocket on inside front cover would be good to hold your stamps

Ring bound journals are really easy to change around. I like to laminate my covers.

I’ve made three different organizers using these discs. So very easy to keep adding pages as necessary. I have what looks like a 3 hole punch (like a regular office tool) that punches all the disc holes at once. Purchasing that was an impulse buy but I use it frequently and have never regretted it😊

Love this! I’m gonna duplicate the words and then flip them so that I’ll have words on both sides of the tab. I’m also gonna use “flatten” before “attach” to fill in my font. LOVE your videos! Please keep them coming!!

If you put the writing on both sides of the tab... It would give you more options to move the pages around as you could flip the top tab down to be a bottom tab, etc. 💖🌞🌵😷

You could cut the pages large enough for the cards and glue a pocket on the front and back. I'd use a heavy weight paper since you wouldn't be folding the paper over.
